Just to make things interesting here, "Kunzite" was
discovered in the
early 20th Century by a geologist named Kunz. His
intention was to name
the beryl-family mineral after his patron, J.
Pierpoint Morgan, and call
it "Morganite," but couldn't reach the millionaire
for permission, and
so called it "Kunzite" instead.

Also, some more neat facts about Queen Beryl and her
dark generals (that might help when creating more
characters) is that all of them are named after dark
green rocks. You may want to change the names (if you
take my advice) of the dark kingdom officers in the
story (Just to keep the theme going, and to put a stop
to nitpicky e-mails like these), for none of them are
really in the dark green area, although here are a few
that are (And they have cool names!)

(**note** If you are totally un-interested in rocks
and minerals or don't care to be offered suggestions
on dark kingdom characters, stop reading now, for it
is spam to you)

Pyromorphite
Scorodite
Tourmaline (well, not all are dark green, but those
are the best colored ones IMHO)
Actinolite
Arfvedsonite (Sorry, but couldn't you see the other
characters laughing at him/her?)
Clinochlore (the Penninite variety)
Serpentine
Hornblendite (Another funny one)
Amphibolite

An interesting idea for a lower ranking officer would
be Ruby, who might be Zoisite's sister or brother. I
only think of this because I myself like the variety
of Zoisite appearing with Rubies(so, I'm a lapidary
nutcase, who cares, right?).

then to everyone else and apologizes for spamming:::
