You know, that gets me wondering. How many, if any, of the people
on the
FFML are professional writers?
I personally believe that the majority of the truly exceptional
writers on this mailing list have considered, are considering, or are
already writing (or attempting to write, getting published can be a
bitch) professionally.
And where are they now?
Laughing all the way to the bank, of course :)
(In all seriousness, getting published is based more on luck from what I
hear. Just about every professional writer I see tells me that.)
Maggots love to eat what I write. Well, I never planned on publishing
myself, but if it ever comes to that all the better (even a magazine would
be nice).
Until the wheel burns out, I'll be there....
