Robbing banks by daylight.
Hiding out by moonlight.
Getting out of situations that are tight.
She is the one named Soldier Moon.

The customer creeping through the aisle was now directly behind Ami. She
heard him turn around. Ami peeked at him through the corner of her eye. The
young man reached down and grabbed her behind with both hands. Ami gasped and
turned around.
The young man covered his face with his hands to protect himself and cover
his nosebleed. "Please don't hurt me!" he pleaded. "My friends dared me to do
it!" He pointed out the door to his friends. The other two boys promptly
turned around and started whistling.
"I won't hurt you," Ami reassured him.
The boy dropped his hands. "Really?"
"No!" Ami pulled back her fist and decked the boy. A loud crack could be
heard as her fist made contact with his face. The boy fell back, toppling
bookshelves like dominoes. The boy now had a new reason for his nose to
bleed. She then turned toward his friends.
In her rage, Ami transformed into Soldier Mercury. She put her hands
together and concentrated her energy to shoot a large stream of ice at the
boys. The ice stream completely froze the two in a large block of ice.
All of the noise woke the clerk up. She looked around. "I'm not cleaning
this mess up," she remarked. "I quit." With that she walked out the store.
"I've created enough of a mess here," Soldier Mercury said. She used the
matter transporter and opened up a portal to Seattle. "I hope Luna and
Artemis are okay."

Microsoft HQ Ruins, Seattle
The scene was not a pretty one. Piles of cement lay crumpled on the
ground. Rescue workers had not yet begun to search for survivors for fear of
more bombs. Frankly, they didn't expect any. Bomb sniffing dogs were brought
in to aid in the search. A crowd was beginning to gather, many of who were
crying. Paramedics were taking care of the injured that could immediately be
reached. The area of destruction was completely soaked with water.
A black portal appeared and Ami stepped through. She looked around at the
scene with pride. "Who knew a couple of grenades could cause so much damage?"
"It's one of them!" an officer yelled, pointing in Ami's direction.
"Uh oh." Ami ducked behind a pile of rubble and transformed. Bullets
whizzed over her head as she pulled out one of the M-17 rifles and loaded it.
The blue-haired girl popped up and started shooting. Many officers, along
with a few civilians, fell victim to the spray of bullets. Others ducked.
Soldier Mercury crouched and moved along the cover of the rubble. All five
dogs were let loose on her. Mercury heard their barking and instinctively
ran. She climbed atop a large boulder; her back turned to the officers. When
the dogs got stuck at the boulder's base, Mercury pulled out a shotgun and
blasted the dogs. She caught a bullet in the left shoulder. Mercury let out a
yelp of pain. She fell off of the boulder clutching her bleeding shoulder.
Behind the cover of the boulder, Mercury put her hands on the ground.
"Mercury Hell Freeze Over!" Her hands emitted a soft blue glow and a sheet
of ice began to form around her hands. It spread in a circle that covered a
mile radius around her, freezing over the entire surrounding area. The mouths
of the civilians, officers, and paramedics were all twisted into screams as
their bodies were posed into frozen sculptures.
Soldier Mercury peeked around and looked at her handiwork. She smiled. "I
must be getting stronger to be able to pull off an attack like that." She
looked at the blood running down her arm. Pain shot down her back whenever
she moved it. She sat down and put her right hand on her left shoulder. She
then froze and shattered the bullet. The pain in her arm disappeared
instantly and the blood stopped flowing. She breathed a sigh of relief.
Mercury pulled out her computer, suddenly remembering that Luna's collar
had a tracking device implanted in it. A map of the city appeared on the
screen with a red beeping light showing the cats' location. Mercury set the
matter transporter to the map's coordinates and opened another portal. She
picked the shotgun up and walked through it, leaving her creations to melt.

Cat Burglars' Hide Out, Seattle
Ami stepped through the portal clutching the shotgun and transformed
again. The process was beginning to become annoying.
"I'll have to modify that later," she thought. From outside, she could
hear the cries of many cats. Mercury donned her X-ray glasses and peered
inside the old, rundown building. Looking around, she spotted Artemis and
Luna in cages against a far wall. Dozens of other caged felines lined the
walls keeping her captive friends company. Mercury held her gun close and
moved in. Leaning against the door, she took one last look before removing
her specialized glasses. She noticed that six men had now entered the room.
Soldier Mercury put away her glasses and shotgun, choosing two small arms
instead. She kicked the door open and rolled into the room. She kneeled and
began blasting away, killing two of the men immediately. Two others reached
for their guns but never had a chance to use them. Now out of ammunition, Ami
darted into another room, shutting the door behind her.
The two men that were left pulled out their own weapons.
"There's no way out of that room," said one. "Let's get her."
The two stepped up to the door and stood at opposite sides. One nodded and
the other opened the door. They charged in, aiming their guns all around,
searching for their target. But she was nowhere to be seen.
One dropped his arms to his side and the other scratched his head. The
door to the room slowly closed behind their backs to reveal hidden Soldier
Mercury, guns ready for shooting.
"Where could she have gone?" asked one of the goons.
"Right here, boys." The two goons turned around and swore before a barrage
of bullets blasted them. With a smile on her face, Mercury blew away the
smoke from her gun barrels then twirled them and put them at her side like an
old fashioned cowgirl. She chuckled lightly.
"Mercury!" a voice called from the other room. "Are you okay?"
The victorious girl emerged unscathed from the room and set her friends
free.
"We're glad to see you, Ami." Artemis told her. Luna, who had calmed down
significantly, nodded in agreement.
Mercury chose a non-bloody space on the floor to sit and worked on the
transporter. "Luna, back in Los Angeles, why did you try to kill Artemis?"
Luna thought back. "A few weeks before we met you and your friends, we
were engaged to be married. One night, we went out to a bar and got drunk. We
went to a tattoo parlor and got these crescent moons done on our forehead as
a sign of our love. As we walked back home, Artemis made a gypsy angry. She
cursed us and turned us into cats 'for all the days that we may live.' She
threw a powder at us and mumbled some foreign incantation. There was a flash
of white light and then darkness. I came to some time later in a dark alley
and heard some loud noises. I looked up to see that Artemis was making
another cat meow! I chased him around the alley, but I could barely walk with
the hangover I had. He hopped a brick wall and I never saw him again until
that day.
"But I'm over that now," Luna concluded.
Artemis smiled. "Aren't you glad you got that off of your chest?"
"Shut up! I'm not speaking to you."
Mercury put a hand over her mouth to stifle a laugh. She finished working
on the matter transporter. "That should do it." She stood up and opened a
portal back to the Mall of America.
"Let's see what the others are up to," she said, stepping through the
portal with the cats.

A voice came through from the other end. "Employing stage two. Over."
The bottom floor opened up. From the depths rose a large red and white
mecha.
"Prepare to meet your end!" shouted a booming robotic voice.
A portal opened up. Soldier Mercury walked through it with Artemis and
Luna. Mercury tripped and the matter transporter flew through air, landing in
the fountain. It began to pulse with electricity. Then the portal closed.
"Oh Damn," she said. The girl ducked inside the nearest store and hid.
Soldier Venus and the cats followed suit.
"Come on," Soldier Moon shouted. "We've robbed banks, blown up buildings,
and fought off hoards of police. No oversized tin can is going to beat us!"
The mecha turned around and raised an arm at Soldier Moon. It fired a
missile at the girl, destroying the platform she was standing on. Darien was
blown away. Soldier Moon screamed at the top of her lungs as she flew
headfirst into the fountain.
"USAGI!" Darien cried.
"Nobody asked for a motivational speaker," the mechanical giant said.
"Bwahahahaha!"
Miles aimed the assault rifle at the robot's head and let loose a spray of
bullets, each bouncing off with a metal clank. "Dammit!" he swore.
The robot's eyes glowed green. "Did you really think that would work?" It
swung an arm at Miles and Solider Jupiter. Miles pushed Jupiter out of the
way but he was crushed in the sacrifice, along with the food court.
Soldier Jupiter fought back her tears. "Nobody kills my boyfriend and gets
away with it! Jupiter Thunder, Crash!" She shot a white bolt of lightning at
the robot. It wasn't even phased.
The robot turned to her. "Thanks for the extra power," it said. Its eyes
glowed white and then shot two bolts of lightning back at her. Jupiter
screamed in agony as the lightning traveled her body. When the robot finally
stopped, she collapsed on the ground, smoke rising from her body.
"Anyone in the mood for barbecue? Bwahahahaha!"
"Flamethrower Blast!" Soldier Mars shot a large flame at the robot's feet,
attempting to weld it to the ground.
"I'm melting! I'm melting! What a world! What a world! Bwahahahaha!" the
robot cackled. It turned towards the girl. "Well, it appears we have a little
firefly in the building. I guess I'll have to use my bug zapper!" Its eyes
glowed white again before it blasted Soldier Mars with lightning.
"Venus Crescent Beam, Smash!" A yellow laser blasted the robot in the
head. The robot fell over and destroyed much of the right side of the mall.
Venus emerged from her hiding place and ran to where her fallen comrade lay
motionless.
"Mars! Are you okay?" Venus lifted the girl.
Mars coughed. "Avenge us, Venus." Mars closed her eyes and fell limp in
Venus's arms.
Venus started crying when she felt a hand on her shoulder. She turned to
see that Soldier Mercury and the cats were fine.
"Venus," Mercury began. "I scanned the robot for weaknesses and the only
one it has is water. I have a plan." She whispered in Soldier Venus's ear.
"That was a formidable blow, little girl," the robot said. "But you just
made me stronger." It stood up. "I absorb your powers whenever you use them
against me. Say your prayers because you're finished!" Its eyes shined yellow.
"Venus Love Chain, Encircle!" Venus's chains of hearts wrapped around the
robot's legs like a lasso. She pulled it and the legs moved closer together.
The robot's eyes returned to their normal red color. "What the hell?"
"Mercury Ice Battering Ram!" She put her hands together and shot a long,
thick pole of ice at the robot's chest.
The robot waved its arms in a futile attempt to keep its balance. It
stumbled backwards and fell into the fountain. Darien, who was wading in the
fountain searching for his girlfriend, never saw it coming as he was smashed
under the weight of the robotic giant. The resulting splash knocked the
matter transporter out of the fountain. Soldier Mercury caught it.
Electricity pulsed from it in loud jolts as it screamed Bloody Murder.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! You'll never get away with
this!" With one last jolt, the robot's eyes stopped glowing and it shut down.
Mercury and Venus ran up the escalator to the second floor to avoid the
electrified water. Mercury looked at the transporter and noticed that the
display was different. She took her computer out of Oblivospace and scanned
it.
The cats walked over to her. "What's wrong?" Artemis inquired.
"The water affected the transporter. It's no longer transports matter but
now allows time and dimensional travel."
Luna was shocked. "You mean we can go back and change all of this?"
Mercury nodded. She set the device for the start of the fight. A blue portal
opened up and the four walked through it.
*************************
The bottom floor opened up. From the depths rose a large red and white
mecha.
"Prepare to meet your end!" shouted a booming robotic voice.
A portal opened up. Soldier Mercury walked through it with Artemis and
Luna. Mercury tripped and the matter transporter flew through air.
Another portal opened behind her. Mercury, Venus, Artemis, and Luna
stepped through. Future Mercury caught sight of the airborne matter
transporter.
"Nooooo!" she screamed. She leaped through the air and caught it before it
found a home in the water.
"I don't know why there are two of you but you will all suffer the same
fate!" the robot threatened. It turned toward Soldier Moon since it decided
that she was the leader. It raised a hand toward the frightened girl. Future
Venus threw another chain at the robot's arm and pulled, aiming it to the
sky. The robot fired the missile into the air and through the shattered
skylight. No one was sure what happened to it.
The other Soldier Venus decided to follow suit and wrapped her own chain
around the robot's arm. Past Mercury fired a beam of ice at its shoulder,
freezing it. The pulling action of the two Venus caused the arm to break off.
It flew through the air and smashed Miles, along with the food court.
Soldier Jupiter winced. "That's got to hurt."
Future Mercury gave the matter transporter back to Past Mercury and
performed her attack, again ramming the ice pole in the robot's chest,
knocking it backward into the fountain.
"Everyone watch out! This water's electrified!" The occupants of the
bottom floor raced up to the second.
"Who are you?" Past Mercury questioned.
"We are you from the future. When we fought this battle, Only the four of
us survived," Minako informed her. "We decided to come back so that we could
save you."
"Thank you," said Past Artemis.
Future Mercury opened another portal. "It's time for us to go. Farewell."
She and the other future residents stepped through it, not knowing what lay
ahead.
"I think it would be best if we left, too." Soldier Mercury suggested,
opening a portal. "And I've got just the place in mind."

Three days later...
Rei, Minako, Makoto, and Ami sat in lawn chairs on the beach of Jamaica,
soaking up the sun's rays.
"I've said it once and I'll say it again, Ami. This was a great idea,"
Makoto said.
"I agree," Minako noted. "You sure can pick 'em."
Ami smiled. "Thank you. Do you guys know where Usagi and Darien are?"
"Probably still in their hotel room," Rei answered.
"It figures. I saw Darien buying a ton of ginseng and power bars
yesterday. Minako giggled.
"Babe alert at three o' clock," announced Makoto as four boys walked past
them.
"You guys go ahead. I'll stay here," Ami said.
"Your loss," Rei commented. She, Minako, and Makoto got up and left their
friend.
Ami pulled out a book and started reading. "This is the life."
