You'll probably want to change Rama's forehead mark. I was sure you'd
realise that an upright infinity symbol is an '8'. Which doesn't look very
nice on anyone's forehead- least of all a goddess.

Hmm...I dunno about that. If it's stylized, distended so that it's very
narrow, and maybe the loops in the figure are filled in with a color or
fractal pattern, it wouldn't look all that bad.

Finally, beware if your fic starts being similar to that atrocious

I have two things to say about this comment:

1. If Roeder-san wants to write this fic as a sexual comedy, more power to
him. Ranma 1/2 began, need you be reminded, as sexual comedy. Sexual
comedy, handled well, can be absolutely hilarious, without getting raunchy.
I think Roeder-san can handle it.

2. I apologize for this, but I couldn't let it pass unchallenged...

In my opinion, Chan Wei Lik's comment is extremely out of line. Opinions
are fine, but (a) his 'warning' about how the author shouldn't write this
fic is uncalled for, because frankly, the author is writing the fic because
he wants to, and I daresay he'll write it however he damn well pleases. The
author is not required to cater directly to the wishes of his readers. He
isn't going to great lengths to piss anyone off deliberately; he's just
writing a fic. And it's *his* fic. You don't like it, don't read it.

And (b), it's in INCREDIBLY poor taste to make an offhand comment about an
unrelated fic by a wholly different author in this manner. You may think
Lesbian 1/2 is 'atrocious'...that's your opinion and you're welcome to it.
But such opinions are best kept between you and the author of the fic in
question, as not everyone on the list agrees with your views and you are in
danger of starting a whole new war here. Don't drag your problems with a
completely unrelated fic into C&C on another fic. Aside from it being
tacky, rude, and disrespectful, it gives people the impression that you
would rather take potshots at a fic you didn't like than C&C that fic and
point out to its author what you didn't like about it.

I wouldn't blame Cheng-san for being extremely pissed at your rude,
disrespectful potshot at Lesbian 1/2. If someone came along and said "I
just read Sailormoon Z, and it's a hell of a lot better than that piece of
shit Suiseiki", I'd be pissed. If someone came along and said "Ill Met By
Starlight sucks even worse than The Bitter End", I'd imagine Loader-san,
Doenime-san, AND Zen-senpai would be pissed. And in each case, it would be
perfectly justified.

To the rest of the FFML, I apologize for this rant, but this individual was
extremely out of line, and I could not allow this to pass.
