Actually, it wasn't a flamewar... nobody flamed anybody, at least not on
the list. But anyway....

I think you put in way too much explanation, way too soon in this story.
It would have been intriguing to have Ranma's past kept somewhat
mysterious for a while, with clues dropped but the full story left for
us to put together. Just being told right off spoils some of the fun.

Also, I wonder whether it could be done using Japanese mythology instead
of Christian? I know it'd take a bit of research, but the shinto stuff
would keep the Japanese flavor of the series and characters.

Just a couple of suggestions. All in all, looks interesting so far.
