remember; 

when he's human, Nyarlathotep's power is scaled wayyyyyyyyyy back, almost

all 

the way to normal human levels. His only exceptional attribute then is

his 

magic, and considering the books they've read, Fuyutsuki, Gendo, and

Ritsuko 

would have no trouble countering him. Not that it'll likely come to that,

  But 'Tep has something they don't: Alien God Intellect. Plus as mentained
in
GURPS Cthulupunk, The GOO and Co. don't play by any rules but their own.
 If it comes down to neutralizing threats. He could pop in next to Shinji
and
Asuka, and fill their minds full of interesting shapes neither acute or
abtuse

 And 'Tep doesn't need magic at all either. He's the Devil incarnate and
can
bet the characters using plain psycology(sp) which would'nt be to hard
considering the characters will be gibbering wrecks at that point no doubt.
