I'm sorry you've had such a hard time.
Unfortunately the anonymity of the internet not only
allows but sometimes encourages  people to say things
they would never say in person.  The speed and ease of
e-mail, IMO, leads sometimes to hasty and thoughtless
comments.  Multiple comments on a topic are quite
common since there is no feed-back mechanism to stop
them. For example, thirty people may have replied to
your original post before the FIRST reply showed up on
the FFML. However this may give the appearance of
being ganged-up-on. In reality it may just be a
by-product of the limitations of the medium.
The majority of the FFML, IMO, are helpful, friendly
people. The exceptions are I believe due to haste and
thoughtlessness rather than malice.
For my own part I just wish I had gotten a chance to
see the actual fanfic. ^_^ (It never showed up in any
form where I could see it. :( )

that would require that I post it to this medium.

        Again, I am sorry.. here.... maybe this
might make it a bit clearer...
