Lara Bartram, I was trying desperately to think of something to talk
about at the FFML dinner, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the whole
evening. Maybe it was the food :P ;)

OK, a few things I can think of (four days later, of course).  Um, the
rate at which Jeanne sucked down that first Coke and her water.  Quite
a sight to behold.  :)  

Hey, I was thirsty. Waiting in a hotel checking line, then the con pre-reg
line (the hotel line was longer), trying to find my roomie, hauling our
junk to the far reaches of F block, only to find out the hotel screwed up
our room reservations, running around trying to get them to straighten it
out (they wouldn't/couldn't), running around trying to find other
accomodations (thanks again Pearson!), hauling all that stuff from the far
reaches of F block to a different floor on the far reaches of G block,
making a quick tour of the dealer's room, and THEN getting to the meeting
place in time for dinner, all in the space of about 3 hours makes for a dry
throat.

Besides, you didn't mention the rate I sucked down the 2nd coke, the ice
from the water glass, or that I got Lara momentarily confused with Marla
Miner <gomen> ^_^
