Hi!

Some people call me the Energizer Fanfic Idea 
Generator, and for good reason.  I can't seem to go a 
week without coming up with a solid idea for a 
novel-length epic.  The worst thing is, all too often I 
attempt to begin writing said epic, instead of 
continuing to work on all those fics I've already 
started... ^_^;; 

I've decided, therefore, to compile a list of all those 
fanfics that I'm *sure* I won't be writing in the 
foreseeable, whether because they require knowledge 
that I don't have, or because they would take far too 
long, or because... they're just wrong.  Take a look; 
maybe you'll get inspired, and claim one of these ideas 
for one of your own fics.  Or maybe you'll merely 
become nauseated.  Whatever. ^_-

Well then, here goes nothing:


Fanfics I Will NOT Be Writing
-----------------------------

-Xena Inverse: Warrior Sorceress
     Can you just imagine The Enemy Of All Who Live in 
a leather bustier?  @_@   Gourry as Gabrielle, Amelia 
as Joxer, Zel as that Prince of Thieves guy...  the 
list goes on and on, and it don't get any better.... 

-Magic Knights MiddleEarth
     In which one of the hobbits would take the place 
of Mokona... or that Gollum creature, if you think you 
could get away with that.  Probably the best thing 
about this idea is that it *isn't* yet another 
Lovecraft crossover.  I won't be attempting it because 
I haven't read Tolkien for most of a decade, nor do I 
plan to re-read it anytime soon (I have far too much in 
my "to read" list already, not to mention my "anime to 
be watched" list ^_-).

-The Dukes of El Hazzard
     I won't even *try* to write this one, mainly 
because I haven't seen a single episode of "The Dukes 
of Hazzard."  Someone else may have attempted a spoof 
in this vein at some point... goodness knows it's a 
rather obvious idea.

-The Vampire Slayers
     If a wooden stake doesn't work, just break out the 
"Dragu Slave!"  Though Lina would probably object to 
being re-named "Buffy".... 

-Inu-Yasha 1/2
     Not only is he merely half a demon, poor Inu-Yasha 
gets a fateful dunking and ends up being only half a 
man, too....  I won't write this one because it's just 
too cruel; though the image of Kagome hefting a mallet 
seems strangely fitting, in a way... ^_^;;

-Matsuura Yuu Hakusho
     Who says that "Yuu Yuu Hakusho" and "Marmalade 
Boy" wouldn't make a good crossover?  Instead of having 
to win fierce battles with monstrously powerful demons, 
this Reikai detective only has to defeat them at 
tennis....   

-a Slayers/Child's Toy crossover
     After months of questing, Lina finally gets her 
hands on the Ultimate Power... which, oddly enough, 
puts her on a permanent sugar-high.  But she figures 
it's worth it, to be able to use the spell known as... 
the Giga Mallet.  Her friends, however, have their 
doubts, especially when they, too, are affected by her 
newfound powers.  Gourry loses the ability to express 
emotion, Zelgadis compulsively books Lina to star in 
various commercials, and a squirrel takes up residence 
on Amelia's head.  The last straw?  When Xelloss 
sprouts bat wings and bunny ears! 

-The Eating Contest
     Arranged in an attempt to find out once and for 
all which character can pack away the most grub.  Usagi 
from "Sailor Moon" versus Lina Inverse from "Slayers" 
versus Yuuki Miaka from "Fushigi Yuugi"... versus 
Obelix from "Asterix".  "I'm not fat, just big-boned!" 
*toc toc toc*  "These anime characters are crazy!  Pass 
the roast boar, please."

-a Mononoke Hime/Inu-Yasha crossover
     What would Inu-Yasha's reaction be upon meeting 
San, a girl who denies her human heritage in favour of 
the wolves who raised her?  And what would Kagome think 
of that?  What would have happened if Okkotononushi, 
that ancient boar, had gotten his hands (er... 
trotters?) on a shard of the Shikon Jewel, just before 
the boars' charge against the humans?  (And what if the 
old wolf Moro was Inu-Yasha's dad's old girlfriend? 
^_^;;)  This could turn out to be a good crossover, but 
I just don't have the energy to plot it out right now.



And if you thought *that* was scary, you should take a 
look at the list of fanfics that I AM planning to 
write... @_@

Well, that's enough spam from me... Feel free to use 
these ideas in your own fics.  If you really feel like 
discussing the ideas here at length, please take it to 
private mail so that the spam-to-fic ratio doesn't 
become even more skewed in the wrong direction...  ^_^
