Nihao!
Well, school's almost over for me for the summer. This means I will be writing more, not less. If any actually has been wondering, yes, Journal of the Ages: Ranma Chapter 5 will be out about a week after I get done with school. I Was a Teenage EVA and others will also be worked on. Summer's a very boring time to be a lab attendant and I plan to use it all writing.
Any case, here's a little teaser, something that I also will be working on. C&C is of course wanted.

The Tenth Commandment
Sometime During the Attack of the 15th Angel:
Asuka screamed as the Angel invaded her very mind. It ripped easily through the barriers that she had put up to keep out those memories. It laughed at them played them over and over again for her to see and enjoy each and every second. Her mother calling a doll by her name, her mother hanging from the ceiling.
Ever thought, every smell, every touch was her the relive again, and again, and again. And when it was done playing with her memories of her mother, it went back through them once more for fun, then moved on to new ones.
"NO!!!!! I DON'T WANT TO REMEMBER THAT!" The tortured scream of the Second Children made most of the Bridge crew flinch. The despairing tone, the pleading for mercy from an enemy who had no sense of it, echoed in NERV.
"Please help me..." Asuka pleaded as her mind was repeatedly raped. No one answered her call. Almost no one.
"Misato! Send me out!" Shinji begged from the entry plug of Unit-01.
"Negative," Gendou said, his voice totally devoid of emotion. "Unit-01 must not come into contact with an Angel."
"But that can't happen if I win!" Shinji protested. He felt helpless, like when Unit-03 was destroyed by his hands.
"Negative," Gendou repeated with more force. "The freeze on Unit-01 will remain."
"We can't lose Unit-02 right now you know," Fuyutsuki whispered to the man who he once called a student.
Gendou was silent, listening to the noise of the command center.
"Sync ratios continuing to fall! Still unable to get a lock on the Angel. Unit-00 reports ready."
Gendou glanced down at Misato on the lower deck. He judged her from his throne and found her wanting. She wouldn't take losing one of her pilots well, not now. And she was still needed to bring everything about. He made his decision.
"Rei, go to Terminal Dogma and get the Lance."
"Understood," Rei said.
From his place in the frozen Unit-01, Shinji started when he heard the order. "Rei," he whispered. He listened on the open channel, Rei's journey. Her accent to the Street's of Tokyo3, and her arrival to help the battered Unit-02.
Asuka's mind was in shreds. It had been rape of the worse sort, a tearing with no kindness, a violation without any mercy in it at all. There was no humanity in the mind that made hers dance alike a puppet on a string, a doll for its amusement. Her unit had abandoned her, then those who she called friends. Shinji wouldn't be saving her this time, oh no, not this time. Not after...
She quickly tried to bury that memory, even while under attack by the Angel who was playing tittle winks with her mind; she would not remember that.
Too late, the Angel went after the memory like a child after a favorite toy. It gloried in it, ran it through its fingers, and replayed it over and over again in her mind. The pain, the betrayal. Here was what it was looking for, a door into the heart and soul of this Child of Lillth. It took it.
Asuka heard the alarms that sounded, another Evangelion was coming, "Shinji?" She asked softly, hoping, trying to keep the Angel out of her soul. But the head that appeared wasn't purple, but blue.
"REI!" Auska roared!
Unit-00 crouched, aimed, and threw the Spear of Destiny. The Angel didn't stand a chance. Rei settled back into her seat, a slight smile on her face. Now she could go back to Shinji and take up that conversation that was so interesting.
She was completely unprepared then when Unit-02, piloted by its homicidally insane pilot crashed into it and ripped off EVA-00's arm.
"Asuka!" Misato called. There was no answer from her. Over the comm channel now was another pilot's scream of pain, Rei's.
"Damn it!" Gendou roared, coming to his feet. "Disconnect the power and eject the entry plug!"
"Power cord disconnected, EVA-00 switching to stand by power," Maya reported. "Entry plug still refusing the single to eject."
"AT FIELD detected! Makoto called.
"Confirmed, pattern blue!" Ritsuko called from the MAGI terminal. "The MAGI say it the Angel we just killed."
"Where's it coming from?" Misato demanded.
"Unit-02! MAGI also report S2 Organ active."
They looked back to the screen; Unit-02 was smashing into Unit-00 with its own arm. The EVA was trying to get away from its attacker. But to no avail, Asuka was no longer satisfied using a arm, it reached down and ripped off a leg.
EVA-00 crashed into the ground. Rei's pain filled screams filled the air.
"Eject Rei's entry plug!" Misato ordered desperately.
"Negative! We can't get the pulse through the AT field," Maya said franticly.
"Can't we at least lower her sync ratio?" Misato asked.
Ritsuko looked at her and shook her head sadly.
On the screen, in a perversion of golf, Unit-02 knocked Unit-00's head off. The blood splattered on the nearby buildings. It bathed Unit-02, and it roared its approval.
Maya flinched from the view on the screen, and Rei's shrieks and pleas from help. She noticed a silently flashing light, an alarm. With a scream, she pointed it out.
Ritsuko bounded over from her station; "EVA Unit-01 has activated!"
"I ordered it sealed!" Gendou slammed his hands down on his desk.
"Its active and climbing the shaft that Rei used." Maya reported.
"Disconnect the power!"
"We can't! It's using its S2 Organ!"
"Shut the shaft doors!"
"Father!"
All activity stopped in NERV.
"Father!" Shinji repeated again, "Don't try to stop me!"
"He's almost to the surface, orders?" Makoto asked.
Gendou hesitated. Unit-01 hauled itself onto the streets of Tokyo3. Just as Unit-02 ripped the entry plug out of EVA-00 and dropped it.
"Rei, NO!" Shinji screamed as the entry plug descended to the hard ground below. The world seemed to slow as the white oblong object tumbled.
The last words that Rei had spoken to him before they climbed into their EVAs flashed through his mind.
"I'll always be with you," she had said.
"By chance."
The plug made a half turn in mid-air.
"By faith."
The plug crashed into the ground. There was a sickening crunch as the shell of the plug collapsed when Unit-02 stepped on it. Red LCL leaked out from the wreckage like blood from a wound.
"By hope, I'll come back to you."
Shinji bowed his head, weeping. There was dead silence in the streets.
Then Shinji lifted his head again, if someone could see him, they would see the rage that burned in his suddenly cold eyes.
In NERV, Ritsuko gasped as his sync ratio shot up to over %100. "Not again!"
"ASUKA!" Shinji screamed with all the furry of hell. Evangelion Unit-01 stood up, in total sync with its pilot letting out a roar that shook the bedrock of Tokyo3 and NERV. It charged the red mecha that still held the body of Unit-00.
