	======The Mysterious Pokemon======

	"Well?" Ben asked.
"Got one. It's so cute too." Jessie said, hugging her new Clefairy.
"Well, that's most of the reported Pokemon in the area. All that's
left is a Paras." Ben commented as he briefly scanned the Clefairy.
"Oh, we can find a Paras later. Let's get going to Cerulean City."
Jessie said.
	"Fine, fine." Ben commented.
"Uh, hope you don't mind, but Mason and Jessy just evolved again." Fox
said, motioning over to the Nidoking and Nidoqueen.
"King. Nido ni king king do nidoking."
"Ni queen do ni queen do queen do ni ni."
"How'd that happen?" Ben asked, scratching his head as he scanned the
two huge pokemon.
"There were messing around with this rock here." Fox said, presenting a
large glowing purple stone.
"Clefairy!" the Clefairy in Jessie's hands said, racing over to Fox and
touching the stone.
Suddenly a pink and purple aura surrounded the Clefairy and it began
evolving.
	"Clefable!" the Clefable declared.
Ben scanned it, then took the rock from Fox's hand, noting that it was
smaller now.
"This must be that rare stone that the boss was looking for a few month
ago." Jessie exclaimed.
	"This?" Ben asked.
"Yeah. I remember now. Certain Pokemon can evolve when dey touch
special stones. But dose stones are tough ta get." Fox commented.
"Well, looks like we're another step ahead of Team Rocket." Ben said,
placing the stone in his backpack along with his Pokedex.

Shelly was snoring peacefully. The rest of the Pokemon were sleeping
as well. Ash turned and gave Misty "The Look" (tm) (1).
"Well, the last bus driver didn't allow Pokemon to be out of their
pokeballs." Misty answered.
Ash suddenly felt a tug at his pants leg.
"Zappy? What is it, girl? Did Timmy fall down the well?" Ash asked
the yellow Pokemon which was sporting a fannie-pack with it's name on
it.
	Misty snickered and Ash smiled.
	"PIKAAAA!"
"Sorry. What is it?" Ash asked, realizing that a mad Pikachu could
really cause damage.
"Piii ka pika ka pika chu pi ka chu pika?"
	"About what?" Ash asked.
"Ka pika chu ka pi pikachu?"
"Um, sure. Pikachu, Zappy wants to say something." Ash said, nudging
Pikachu awake.
	"Pi?"
"Pika chu chu pika pi chu ka chu ka pika chu."
Pikachu fainted. Ash fainted. Misty's jaw dropped. Shelly rolled
over in her sleep and began snoring softly.

"Now what? How do we get down?" Jessie asked Fox as they looked down
the cliff-face.
"Climb down, I guess. I've got some rope." Ben said, setting his
backpack down.
Suddenly, the wind began picking up and seemed to be pushing him
towards the cliff-face. He tried to set his footing, but the wind
picked him up like a pair of arms and tossed him off the cliff.
"BEN!" Jessie called as she looked down to see Ben hanging on a small
branch.
"I'm fine! Just use Shamrock's Vine Whip to haul me up." Ben yelled,
throwing his belt with his pokeballs on it to Jessie.
Jessie reached down and just barely managed to snag the belt.
"Right.... which one is Shamrock?" Jessie asked, pulling the belt up.
"The only blue one!" Ben called.
Jessie grabbed the blue pokeball and let Shamrock loose.
"Shamrock, Vine Whip!" Jessie told it, pointing at Ben.
	"Ivy."
The vines began reaching for Ben when suddenly Shamrock jerked back.
	"IVY!!!!" Shamrock cried in pain.
It pulled it's vines back to reveal that the ends were severed cleanly.
"What the..." Jessie began before looking in front of her to see a
black cloud.
Jessie grabbed Ben's Pokedex and used it's Scan.
"There is no Pokemon." The Pokedex cheerifully reported.
"Stupid thing!" Jessie growled, shoving it back into Ben's pack.
She sent out all their Pokemon.
"Fox, you, Jessy, Mason and Bambi find rocks for HardRock and StoneMan
to throw at that thing. Flare and Clefairy, blast it. Hawk and
Pen-Pen, fly down and get Ben. Shamrock, keep trying to grab Ben."
Jessie ordered.
Hawk and Pen-Pen took to the air as Flare began breathing flame at the
shadow Pokemon. Meowth, Jessy, Mason and Bambi began rolling rocks to
HardRock and StoneMan. Shamrock continued sending vines down to Ben.
Clefairy began using it's psionic attack when it jerked back and
collapsed. Hawk and Pen-Pen crashed back to the ground as lightning
from the shadow hit them. The stones that HardRock and StoneMan were
throwing didn't seem to have any effect. Jessie was trying to think on
another plan of attack when it unleashed more lightning, paralyzing
Jessie and all the Pokemon save StoneMan and HardRock. The Geodudes
both jerked backwards and fainted.
	"A......... psychic..... attack." Jessie growled.
"But.... what.... kind... of Poke...mon is.....it?" Fox asked.
Then the shadow uttered it's name.
	"God. PokeGod. Poke. God. PokeGod."
	"PokeGod?!" Jessie sputtered.
Ben looked up at the top of the cliff, not knowing what exactly was
going on, but hoping Jessie wasn't having trouble getting Shamrock to
follow her orders. Then, he saw the shadowy figure near the top of the
cliff where Jessie was. It began descending down to his level. No
sooner had it become parallel with him than the small branch pulled out
of the cliff, sending Ben tumbling into darkness. And the last thought
he had was, [Didn't I see that thing on a Star Trek episode?]

	Shelly blinked.
"Zappy wants Pikachu's hand? That's rather mean, but I don't see
why..." Shelly began.
"Zappy wants Pikachu's hand in MARRIAGE. Zappy wants to marry
Pikachu." Misty answered.
	"Oh. So?" Shelly asked.
Misty slapped her hand over her face.
"Zappy is a girl. Pikachu is a girl. Zappy wants to marry Pikachu.
Get it?" Misty explained.
"No. What's the fuss?" Shelly asked.
"Well, imagine that Zappy is you and Pikachu is Misty." Ash began.
"Ummmmmm....... why would Zappy be me? And why would Pikachu be
Misty?" Shelly asked.
"Nevermind." Ash said, hanging his head.
"I still don't know what the fuss is. Zappy loves Pikachu. It's cute
when you think about it." Shelly said, hugging Zappy.
	"I guess." Ash answered, sighing.

"What was that?" James asked as he saw something fall nearby.
"Maybe it's something valuable!" Greg said, excitedly.
"I'll check it out." Scyther declared, racing for the site before Greg
or James could object.
"Let's follow him. I don't trust him for a second." James growled.
	"Right." Greg responded.
	They began tailing Scyther.

His entire body felt like a giant puppy had grabbed him like a rag doll
and shook the stuffing out of him before gnawing on him for an hour and
a half.
"PokeGod. God. Poke. God PokeGod." came an unfamiliar voice.
Ben managed to open his right eye slightly. His left eye felt like
something wet was running over it, so he decided not to chance opening
it. What he saw almost made him yelp. It was a wiry creature that had
a Rhyhorn's hind legs, Rapidash's fore legs, a Pikachu's tail, a pair of
arms that ended in claws like a Scyther's, then another pair of arms
resembling a Charizard's. It's entire torso was plated like a Golem's
and it's face resembled an Abra's.
"Poke PokeGod God God Poke." the strange creature declared.
Ben suddenly felt like he was engulfed in flame before pain caused him
to pass out again.

"SCYTHER! You won't get away thisss time!" Scyther growled as it saw
the PokeGod holding something it could not see.
The PokeGod dropped whatever it had and turned to face Scyther.
"Scyther, what's wrong?" Greg demanded as he and James arrived on the
scene.
"Thisss bassstard gave me thisss form! And I'll ssshow him the error
of hisss waysss!" Scyther declared, lunging at PokeGod again.
The Scyther-like claws blocked the Scyther's attack. Greg and James
still didn't understand what was going on, but decided that whatever the
creature before them was, it was valuable.
"GO ELECTRODE!" Greg cried, tossing a pokeball.
"GO VILEPLUME!" James declared, tossing a pokeball.
The Electrode rolled at the PokeGod. The Electrode didn't get a chance
to even Self-Destruct before the PokeGod's psionic powers sent it flying
off into the distance. The Vileplume screamed in pain as the PokeGod
set it ablaze. James withdrew the grass Pokemon and let loose a
Haunter.
	"Haunter, Night Sha-" James began.
The Haunter was suddenly dispersed as the PokeGod focused on it.
"It.... destroyed.... my....... Haunter..." James managed to mumble
out.
The PokeGod flared with white energy. The energy grew in intensity
until Scyther, Greg and James looked away. Then the energy vanished.
They looked to see that the PokeGod had teleported away.
"Blassst it all! I wasss ssso clossse to getting back to normal!"
Scyther growled.
"What's this all about? And what the hell _is_ that thing?" Greg
demanded.
"Ssstupid. Do you think I'd bother sssticking around buffoonsss like
you two if I knew what it wasss after?" Scyther answered.
"What was that thing?" James demanded.
	Scyther sighed and sat down.
"It wasss a lab experiment that I wasss in charge of. Our job wasss to
make the mossst powerful Pokemon in the world. PokeGod wasss the
resssult. We usssed a Ditto and modified it with an Eevee'sss
unpredictable genetic ssstructure. It wasss both a sssuccessssss and a
failure. A sssuccessssss in the fact that it grew more powerful asss it
fought. However, it doesss not revert to normal like other Dittosss.
It hasss continually evolved into what we sssaw." Scyther explained.
"So how did you end up like that?" Greg asked, merely curious.
"It'sss new body allowsss it to not only copy what it hasss ssseen, but
alssso make change what it touchesss." Scyther answered.
"How can it do that?" James asked, moneybags appearing in his eyes as
the idea of forcing the PokeGod to change common Pokemon into ultra-rare
Pokemon.
	"Eeeeeveeeeee..."
Scyther stood up and looked around.
"What is it?" James asked, obviously not hearing the noise.
Scyther said nothing, but rather approached a group of rocks that the
PokeGod had been standing near. It looked behind the rocks, then
answered the question.
"I thought I heard sssomething. My missstake." Scyther answered,
turning back.

"Where could he be?" Jessie asked, scanning the cliff-face as Pen-Pen
slowly lowered her down the cliff. Pen-Pen set her on the ground at the
base of the cliff and she let loose the other Pokemon she and Ben had
collected.
	"Look for Ben." Jessie ordered.
The Pokemon slowly spread out and began looking for Ben or what might
have been left of him. Jessie bit her thumb to try and get her mind off
the thought of finding Ben's splattered remains.
	"Eeeeeveeee..."
"MEOWTH! Did you hear dat?" Fox asked.
"Yeah. Eevee aren't common in any areas, especially not around here
unless someone lost theirs." Jessie answered.
"Let's check it out." Fox suggested.
"But first... Flare, come with us. The rest of you, continue
searching." Jessie called.
"Char." Flare answered, turning away from where it was looking and
hurrying over to Jessie anf Fox.
Fox gave Jessie a dirty look.
"It's not that I don't trust your fighting abilities, but it's always
best to be safe than sorry." Jessie answered.
They headed in the direction that the cry had come from. Soon, they
found a small alcove where the tan Eevee was laying on the ground. The
trio hurried over to it.
"Eev-Flar-eee..." the Pokemon gasped out as it's fur began changing to
red, then reverted to normal.
	"What in the..." Jessie asked.
"Vap-olt-reo-eeve-on." the Eevee sputtered out, it's colors changing
faster than one could blink.
"Meow-er, Fox, what's going on?" Jessie asked.
"The Eevee is in terrible pain. It's as if someone were trying ta
activate ALL of Eevee's evolutions." Fox answered.
"What good would that do? If I remember correctly, Eevee can only
evolve once." Jessie answered.
"But the Eevee have unusual genetic codes. And most trainers don't
even dare try to evolve it with more dan one stone. Not to mention most
evolution stones are so difficult to get that it's not likely that
anyone's going to get the chance." Fox answered.
	"Eevee?" came another call.
	"Wha?" Fox asked, turning around.
Another Eevee stood at the entrance of the alcove.
"Eevee! Eevee! Ee vee vee ee eevee!"
"BEN! Is dat you?!" Fox asked.
	"Eeee!"
"Ben, it's so good ta see you!" Fox cried, hugging the Eevee.
	"THAT'S Ben?!" Jessie demanded.
	Fox didn't seem to care.
"Doesn't he look different to you, Fox?" Jessie asked.
"Hey yeah, he got better looking alluva sudden." Fox said, pushing the
Eevee away to get a good look at it.
"AAAH! Ben's been turned inta a Pokemon!" Fox yelped, leaping back.
"That's what I was trying to point out." Jessie replied.
"Char mander man der char der man charmander." Flare growled.
"Oh right. Da other Eevee." Fox replied, turning around.
	"Eevee?" Ben-Eevee asked.
"Ee-por-Jolt-areon." the changing Eevee croaked out.
	"Eevee! Eevee!"
"Are you sure we should?" Fox asked.
	"Eevee!"
Flare and Fox picked up the sick Eevee and began moving it when Jessie
saw that it had been laying on a Water Stone, a Fire Stone and a Thunder
Stone.
"Who would put an Eevee on all these stones, then leave?" Jessie asked.
	"Eeveeee eee vee eevee eevee."
"Greg? Yeah, I suppose he and James'd come here. And he is stupid
enough." Fox answered.
	"Char char mander charmander?"
"Eevee ee vee eevee eev vee eevee."
"Yeah, Team Rocket _did_ waste time givin' dem a Scyther and two
Electrodes. Dey mighta given dem an Eevee..." Fox commented.

"So, this is Cerulean City, eh?" Ash asked, as he stretched.
Shelly, Misty and the pokemon all stretched too. It had been a long
ride and was extremely boring.
"Too bad we had to miss Mt. Moon. It would've been nice to have a
chance at catching a Clefairy." Ash commented.
"We can go back there another day. Let's get a room at a hotel. I'm
tired." Misty said, yawning.
"I guess we should." Ash answered as he watched the sun setting in the
distance.

"The Eevee is looking a lot better." Jessie announced as she returned
to the group around the campfire.
	"Eevee."
"Somehow it don't seem da same without Ben bein' human." Fox answered.
"Ben, how did you wind up like that?" Jessie asked.
Ben-Eevee began a very animated tale. Fox translated it for Jessie.
"So, that's what the PokeGod really looks like. But why would it
bother attacking us just to turn Ben into a Pokemon?" Jessie asked.
Ben shrugged his shoulders as best as he could.
"Wark!" Pen-Pen called as he entered the clearing.
"Ivy! Ivy!" Shamrock said, entering behind Pen-Pen.
	"Eevee?"
"Ivy! Ivysaur, saur ivy ivy ivysaur!"
	"Ee?"
	"What is it?" Jessie asked.
"They found something suspicious near where we found the other Eevee."
Fox said.
	"Suspicious how?" Jessie inquired.
	"Meowth meow meowmeowth?"
"Ivysaur ivy saur saur ivy saur ivysaur saur ivysaur."
"They said they found only five sets of foot prints. Yours, mine,
Ben's, Flare's and the other Eevee's." Fox responded.
"But that would mean the Eevee willingly laid down on those stones."
Jessie said.
"Was it that obvious?" came an unfamiliar voice.
Jessie stood up and spun around to see four boys.
"Hmph. Eevee is specially trained to do that..." the lead boy said.
	"Eevee?! Eeveeee eevee?! Eevee!!"
Ben lunged at the four boys, only to get tackled by their Eevee.
"You see, our cute little Eevee has been helping us sucker losers like
you into letting your guard down so that our other Pokemon can get your
Pokeballs." the lead boy said, smiling a toothy grin as he let loose a
Vaporeon.
Jessie turned to see a Flareon and a Jolteon rolling pokeballs away.
"Ha! Those pokeballs are empty. You'll have to do better than that."
Jessie said.
"Vaporeon, teach her a less-" the lead boy began.
	"Eevee, eevee vee!" Ben called.
The Vaporeon found itself reeling from an electrical attack.
"What?! You don't have any electric Pokemon!" the lead boy growled,
looking around at the Pokemon near the campfire.
"Maybe none dat you can see..." Fox taunted.
Suddenly, the boys found themselves knocked flat.
"Bambi! Give'em another Thunderbolt attack!" Fox called.
	"Rat." Bambi answered.
Suddenly, electricity released itself from Bambi's fur, striking the
four boys and the Vaporeon. Ben tackled the opposing Eevee. Hardman
and Flare glared down at the Jolteon and Flareon. Both enemy Pokemon
exchanged glances, then turned to run before the Geodude and the
Charmander grabbed them and began teaching them the difference between
right and wrong. The hard way.
"Bambi knows electrical attacks?" Jessie asked.
"Sure. Ben just LOVES ta surprise people." Fox answered.
"Drowsee! Put 'em down!" one of the four boys growled, letting loose a
Pokemon that looked like a cross between an anteater and a human.
Before any of the Pokemon or Jessie could react, it began humming.
Soon, they all collapsed.
"Most persistant Pokemon trainer I've seen in a long time." the lead
boy said, staggering to his feet.

===============================================================================================

Well, a cliffhanger. Maybe. Anyway, here's what's planned for the
next episode of Pokemon HAHAHAHAHA!:
Jessie and co. revive and find themselves at the mercy of the four
Pokemon trainers.
Ash and Shelly find out Misty's horrible secret.
	Another mysterious pokemon appears.
Greg and James run into the wrong people at the wrong time.
	And the PokeGod returns.
