Why go for smooth integrations?  Take Burning Zone and X-Files, you
have a smooth integration.  Not very challenging, but smooth.

How about Star Wars and...I don't know...Totoro.  Or Star Wars and
Nadia.  Maybe Star Wars and Kenshin.  Something absolutely ridiculous,
and then try and make a serious fic out of it.  Somebody does that,
and then I'll start reading cross-over more often.

A Ranma/Star Wars crossover isn't too difficult when you think about
it.
