These are unrelated stories.  The first has Ranma uncursed, living with
both parents.
He is cursed later which puts a twist in his love life.  His male side
has
fallen for Kodachi and either Ukyo and/or Kasumi (I don't remember, it's

been a while).  His female side develops a separate personality which is

in love with Ryouga.  Quite a complicated story up to 21 chapters last
time I
looked.

The second and best of the two (IMHO), is a story where Genma dies at a
young age while saving
Ranma's life.  Ranma however grows up in poor health for an injury
stemming
from the incident which claims his father's life.  When a teenager,
finds out
his mother is thinking of remarrying to Soun he tries to put a stop to
it, with the
help of Nabiki.  Akane is love with Kuno(Possibly the only fic I found
with this),
and both are minor characters.  Ranma engages in Nabiki-like practices
and bests
or outsmarts her on several occasions.  He and Nabiki are moving closer
as the
story progresses.  Chen also brings the amazons to this already complex
story later
to try and grab Ranma's sister.  The plot twists go on and on.   This
was
one I would have loved to see continued.


ranma.ranko-and-kaneda
One of the first of this type.  Similar to Destiny's Wish and Ranko 1/2
but with a major difference.  Ranko's
behavior is similar to Ranma and Kaneda (Akane) usually beats on Ranko
(among other ladies)
with the mallet.  This poses many problems as they do care for one
another, but fights escalate between
fiance's Ukyo (done like konatsu, but  before the character existed),
Mousse, and others because of Kaneda's
mean streak.

Kaneda's attitude towards hitting girls was debated at length when this
work started.  I haven't come
by anything else like this and is also one I would have loved to see
continued.


I couldn't begin to describe these stories well enough but if interested
you should post them.
If for no other reason than to give others an idea for creating works in
a similar line.   I know
I would appreciate it.
