And so, with sleep calling with its demure, pleasant voice... "Come... You
need me..." I looked at my monitor.
No Damn Way, "I'm finishing this review. Wait in the darkness until I am
ready."
"Oh," the voice said in a playful tone, "It's not that simple. I am not to
be shrugged aside whenever you have some menial task to perform. When I
call..."
"No," I said in denial, "Make it stop... make it... the voice... go
away..."

	Damn late night fanfics.

This will be my final review on the Tiger Claw series until more parts are
released. Enjoy.

Draxon's Review Corner Presents
Up all night
With our special guest, Tiger Claw

Story:9
It's hard to describe why this story has grown on me to such a degree... I
rated the first chapter at just below average and now I am sitting here with
an above average nine floating over my head. This story definitely gets
better as it goes on, and unfortuanately I do not have any parts after 6 to
review. I expected this story to be rather simple. Allow me to summarize:

Expected: Evil shows up, has lots of money, lots of followers. Attacks
Ranma. Ranma wins, but supposedly this is to the advantage of said evil.
Evil attacks people around Ranma. Ranma (or someone around him) discovers
who Evil is, and Ranma uses the Tiger Claw to annihilate him, or something
to this effect.

Reality: Evil shows up, has lots of money, lots of followers. Attacks
Ranma. Ranma wins, but supposedly this is to the advantage of said evil.
Evil attacks people around Ranma. This leads to a lot of emotional friction
among Team Ranma as they come to grips with what is happening. A dark,
sinister Evil arises within Ranma himself and slowly begins to change Ranma
and coerce his actions ever so innocently as some members of T. Ranma begin
searching for the source of this Evil. Shampoo risks banishment or death
after seeing Ranma's bare, exposed emotional determination, and possibly
awakens a power deep within her but is not truly aware of its existence. An
outcast Amazon arrives on scene, complicating the whole picture by reviving
old anger and....

I could go on like this for a long time, and there are still plenty of plot
goodies in there for you to find, so I will leave it at that.

Drama:8
A vast improvement over the first chapter, and still improving over 2-3.
Once again it is character dialog that is driving this moreso than the
events in the story. The events seem like they are there so that the
characters will have something meaningful to say, or think, or do. This is
a good thing.

Originality:8
The sheer number of little plot pieces lying around are able to bump this
rating up. It is pretty appearant that MadamHydra sat down for a good deal
of time saying things like, "Okay, so I've got character A, character B,
Item C, location D, and goal E. What can character A do to start things
off, and how does this connect with Item C in a way that will bring
character B into the picture and smoothly give me a reason to go to location
D and accomplish goal E?"

I hope you enjoyed my essay. The jigsaw puzzle in Tiger Claw would need
more letters and a lot more connections between said letters, but the
connections between them still work just as well.

Realism and Humor have been cut from this review.

Characterizations:8
Nothing really new to say here that isnt somehow covered elsewhere in the
review.

Grammar:8
Same as the review for the last chapter. I am getting more used to the
style though.

Descriptions:8
Somehow things seem to have improved. Either the improving plot elements
took my mind off of the technical quality of the descriptiveness or you got
better at describing said plot elements. I'd hazard a guess that includes a
little of both.

Overall:8
I'm looking forward to seeing more parts to this. There are a lot of loose
ends at the end of part six that gaurantee several more chapters, and it
seems that things keep getting better in this story. I feel a need to go
back and re-read chapter one and see if my feelings on it have changed since
I posted my review. Usually someone wont score as lowly as MadamHydra did
early on and come up with straight eights and nines when all is said and
done, so I'm going to go back and make sure that I'm okay with those
ratings.

Post-Notes.
I am going to read Music-Box Angel by tomorrow. No question about it.
After that comes A Duet of Pigtails by Libby Thomas, whos work you may have
seen in action with Rob Barba on Sailor Moon AX. Somewhere immediately
after that I am going to go back to work on A Demon's Delight, and I plan to
focus fully on it until I am absolutely, hands-down, done with it.
