At this point one begins to suspect that Pluto does not have the realm's
best interests at heart, which is a possibility, but not one that seems
to be supported by the general style of the series or the redirection of
Misako away from being groomed to be the next Queen Nephrenia. So what
the heck is Pluto doing? Preserving the One True Timestream? Nonsense.
Misako wasn't _in_ the One True Timestream.
A-MEN!
And why the 2 characters who *know* they're in the wrong timestream
(Younger Jupiter and Chibi-Usa) just accept things and calmly settle in
(clear back to the beginning of Tales of Younger Venus) makes absolutely no
sense - particularly when you consider who these characters are. Why
someone as supposedly dutiful and supposedly smart as Younger Jupiter would
allow the Crown Princess of the Realm to be lost from her rightful place
forever without even trying to do something about it borders on total
idiocy. Can this character not see the obvious move in this situation: go
see Pluto and *ask* why they're there, *ask* what they need to do to get
back where they're supposed to be. Pluto may not answer, Pluto may not
choose to do a thing about it, but at least mentioning or showing this
happening would have covered some pretty gaping plot holes in this series
(not to mention providing some reasons the reader actually knows about for
the never-clearly-explained grudge YJupiter has against Pluto)
(before anyone asks why I didn't comment about this to the authors about
this, I have. several times.)
