subjective

question of "How good a martial artist IS Ukyou, really?"  You make a
good argument for her having an advantage of learning this particular
technique with greater rapidity than someone else, but I still think 

  Well, take into account that she's fast enough that Ranma managed to 
hit her only once, which is, by Ranma standards, very fast (and don't 
tell me he wasn't trying, 'cuz by then Ranma wanted to beat the snot out 
of her). Ranma doesn't get any faster, even after the first Taro fight.
