AN INTERVIEW WITH MOKONA (as recorded by DDFA)


Me: Alright, now it took me some time to arrange this interview....  It is
very difficult, negotiating with the Rayearth crew.  I don't know why....
Maybe they're just paranoid about publicity, or something.

However, one member of the cast was MORE than welcome to talk with me.
Yes, that amazingly annoying bunny-thing on too much coffee, Mokona.

Mokona: Puu ^_^

Me: Now then....  Mokona, is it true that you have been sleeping with Hikaru?

Mokona: Pu puu....  Pu pupupu puu pu, pupupu pu pupupu pu pupupu. >:|

Me: So you deny this emphatically?

Mokona: Pu pu!

Me: So, you feel the so called "film evidence" of one such tryst was doctored?

Mokona: Pupupupu....  Pupu puuu. :\

Me: Ah, I see, so that was nothing more than a cutting from the original tv
series, edited out due to concerns over its effect upon the audience.

Mokona: Pu....  Pupupu puuu pupu pu pupu, pupupu pu pupupupu pu puuu.

Me: Yes, Rayearth did have a very young audience....  But you did ONCE
appear in bed with her in the series.

Mokona: Pu pu puuuuu....

Me: I don't think anybody doubts that the both of you were sleeping at the
time...  However....

Mokona: Pu pupupu!  Pupupu pu pupupu pu pupu pu puuuu. ^_^

Me: Umm....  I don't think I'll repeat that for the readers.  Now, for an
equally touchy subject....  There have been allegations, from behind the
scenes of Rayearth, that the relationship between yourself and Umi has been
rather less than rocky off-screen.

Mokona: Pu pupupu puu pupupu pu.

Me: You like girls with long hair, do you?

Mokona: Puuuuu. ^_^

Me: So, you can confirm that there is something going on behind the scenes?

Mokona: Pupupu.  Pupupu puu puuuuuu.

Me: EH?  Umi is expecting?

Mokona: Puuuu. ^_^

Me: Aha....  The patter of little white feet, all over the place.  Well,
that is certainly.... interesting.  Considering how much the pair of you
hate each other on-screen.

Mokona: Pu pu pu pu puuuu....  Pupupuuu.

Me: Well, yes, I have to say, you did a GREAT acting job, there....  Mind
you, I can see Umi getting just a little exhausted, trying to keep all her
kids in order.

Mokona: Pu!  Pupupu puuuu pu, pupupu pu pupu puuu. >:)

Me: Aha....  Well, who would have thought that the great Mokona was a
believer in tough love....  A case of "on't do as I do, do as I say", I
have to admit.

Mokona: Puuu...  Pupu pu pupupu pupu, pu pupu pu pu.

Me: What?  You were worse when you were young?

Mokona: Pu.  Pu pu pupu. ^_^

Me: Well, I have to say, considering your behaviour as an adult, I can see
how much of a rebel you must have been when you were young....  Totally
uncontrollable.

Mokona: Pupu. ^_^

Me: Alright then.  How do you feel about other cute little creatures,
taking the spotlight away from you?  Say, Pikachu?

Mokona: Puuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu..... >:|

Me: Ah, not your favourite cute creature, I take it?

Mokona: Pu pu pu pu!  Pu, pupupu puu pupu pu pupupu pu pupu puuu....

Me: WHAT?  Pikachu is having an inappropriate relationship with fellow PM
star, Kasumi?

Mokona: Pu pu pu. ^_^

Me: Oh dear....  That'll get you in trouble.

Me: Oh, I see....  Ryo-oh-ki told you....  That makes everything better, then.
