Before Tybalt-sama bans all replies to this fic, let me get this in... and
bring up a slight stumbling block in my reading of this fic. Cologne, who
one would assume is In The Know about such matters as revered (or, in this
case, detested) ancient martial arts techniques, says that Genma sees
through Ranma's eyes. And, assuming the mind control to be anything near
reliable, feels what Ranma's feeling as well. Am I interpreting this the
wrong way, or can Genma choose to shut off the flow of information from
Ranma's puppet mind? If so, you should say something to that effect.

Otherwise... well...

Somehow, I find it implausible that Genma - particularly THIS Genma, who's
even more self-serving than the one in the original series - would subject
himself, even by proxy, to the absolute rational-thought-killing terror of
the Nekoken. And don't go telling me that Genma was only faking it... even
using the original series as a source, Neko-Ranma easily outdoes his
original martial arts feats, most notably with the ki-blade catspaws. I know
there was something in the list of Saotome Forbidden Techniques which
produced blades, of vacuum I think, but I don't think that it could account
for the human shredder Neko-Ranma becomes.

Just something that stuck out in the approximately fifteen seconds my mind
spent making desparate grasps at canon in the hopes of reassuring myself
that this story is just a story and implausible in the context of the
original series. Not to say that it doesn't make for a very chilling
alternaverse...

Hmm. Or perhaps, even better, the Neko-ken shreds Ranma's mind and Genma has
to use this technique to give himself something other than a feral child?
Perfectly in character for Genma.
