The Wheel of Time turns, and ages come and go. Sometimes, an age
witnesses epic events, where the turning of the Wheel forces people out of
the paths of their lives and into legend. The Third Age is one such...

An evil force moves into the kingdoms, sweeping outward from the
Blight and across the distance to Andor. The minions of the Dark One
gather their strength in preparation for a great battle. The sinister
hordes relentlessly search for those who will shape the Age, hoping to
destroy them.

The White Tower sends a special emissary out, hoping to find those
whose destiny binds them to the fate of the Age before the minions of the
Dark do. And from Whitebridge, a force moves out across Andor, hoping to
find the Seals to the Dark One's prison and to stop those from the Tower.

And in a small village on the outskirts of Andor, a group of children
slowly become entangled in the skeins of the tapestry of fate. For they
are ta'averen, those whom the Pattern is woven around. And at their
center is a young boy with a panda-mark blade, who will soon have to face
HER surprising fate...

TA'AVEREN 1/2: TALES OF THE RONIN

Yes, for those who remember this fanfic from ages ago, it's finally
lurched back to life!

Under combined pressure from my coauthor John Biles, and our
illustrious listowner WhiteWolf, I've finally written the next segment of
a fanfic that created what is almost a subgenre to some; the Wheel of
Time/anime crossovers, but which was last seen in late 1995.

Back is the tongue-in-cheek sarcastic humor. Back are the numerous
anime in-jokes. And the original three chapters have been revised, with
small amounts of new material, as well as numerous corrections.

The new material is currently being reviewed by a set of prereaders,
and will then be posted to the FFML. The posting to the FFML will include
a brief history of the 'fic, the original three chapters, the newly
written chapter 4, and the never-before-seen (except by a few) chapter 5.

Coming within the next week or so, depending on how much feedback the
prereaders give. That's a solid date, since the writing is finally done.
:)

Ok, White Wolf. You finally got your way. Make good on your promise
that you'd write a fanfic when I 'finally wrote the next part of Ta'averen
1/2'. >:) ^_-
