God, that's awful...  Good luck in recreating what you lost.

If there's any good to come out of this, it may serve as a warning to 
all
of us to do frequent backups.  Myself, I keep redundant copies of my
stories on my hard drive, a zip disk, and my web site, half a state 
away.

HD, site, archives, prereaders. In an emergency, I could scan 
hardcopies, too. <shrug> I'm not sure that I -could- lose anything.

Oh, and Huang-sama... IIRC, all your Eva fic is posted at 
http://www.ummagurau.com/evafic.htm, on Godel's Eva Fanfic Archive. I 
don't think he has copies of the MSTs of Evanjellydonut, not that it 
needs them. ;p A few less things to worry about, anyway.
