Errrrr... I didn't write that part,
Oops.
but Japan joined Germany not mainly
for more power (a nice plus for them) but as revenge against Korea,
China, and USA. Each of which had caused Japan some major problem in
the
past (china occupied them, and the USA forced them out of their
isolationism). Does that help??
The US had colonies that were attacked? Yes, there was Pearl Harbor,
but
I was taught that the attack was meant to cripple US Naval operations,
not
as a revenge motive.
By that time they were after conquest but they initially got into the
war for revenge against (both real and imagined) past wrongs (which
seems to be one of the main reasons this war got started in the first
place)
As for revenge on Korea and China, *I've* always been told that that is
what they teach the children in Japan, and that most everyone else
believes it was for Imperialistic purposes. Or course, I may be
subject
to biased information myself, as both my parents are Chinese, but the
Japanese explanation doesn't account for the occupation of the South
East
Islands, while the Imperialist explanation seems to work fine.
probibly not so much biased info as old propiganda. It keeps on going
and going and going......
Nice talking/arguing with you ^_^

The sardines weren't worth the trouble. A few more shots, then
Ryoga-san would overheat and explode. Ducking around a corner,
I managed to lose him as I entered the ramshackle residence of
my Anime supplier.
One look at his face and I knew that I was betrayed. "Tell me."
I insisted. He refused, so I slammed him against the wall.
"Last chance. Where can Ranma-Ranma find good fanfics?"
"Try Jason Liao." he whispered, before he slumped to the floor.
I heard the sounds of a door splintering as I left through the
window, one step ahead of Tendo Heavy Industries...
