Establishing Shot:  The solar system, from a great distance.  Mercury
seems to whip around the Sun at an insane rate, and even Jupiter is moving
swiftly.

                                 NARRATOR
                             (Queen Serenity)
		   Much of the story you already know.
		   Life arose from Earth, and, in the
		   days after the passing over the sea,
		   spread out among the planets of the
		   Solar System.  In time, the Silver
		   Millenium alliance was declared, and
		   the children of the many worlds came
		   to live under its peace for nigh a
		   thousand years.

Our perspective slowly starts to move towards Jupiter, and increases its
speed rapidly over the next line.

                                 NARRATOR
                   But perhaps ... you don't know the
		   whole story.

We see that a mighty space battle is taking place around Jupiter and its
moons, and that our point of view is headed right into the thick of the
fighting.

Like a machine gun, images flash across the screen, under a relentless
beat of synthesized sounds.

- TENCHI's head rears up from the ground, looking startled.

- An orange-haired woman with thick glasses, (QUEEN ASTARTE) wearing an
elaborate dress and a crown, watches in horror as a shadow passes over her
while she stands in a hallway.

- A village is burning, and a short man with a long spear is watching it.
We see him from behind.

- PRINCESS OYUKI of Neptune sits in a robe and watches something off-stage
with the slightest of frowns.

- A pair of energy blades -- one a dark red, one a brilliant yellow --
cross.  We pull back to see that the combatants are RYOUKO (who is scared
out of her wits) and a woman who looks like a younger version of WASHUU's
older form (CALLISTRA SKYWALKER).  CALLISTRA's face is clenched in anger
and hatred.

- A small girl with jet black hair looks up from where she is standing in
a garden, and as her hair turns bright golden, she screams -- and a little
girl who looks like Sasami jerks back.

- A woman with dusky skin and firey red hair (ANHUR KHAN) holds a hand
filled with flames the same colour as the flames burning the town earlier.

- A statuesque woman with auburn hair, dressed in a green gown (PRINCESS
JUNO) angrily shakes a fist at a tall, almost ethereal man with white blue
hair in a black cloak (LORD VULCAN) who regards her with indifference even
when sparks start to fly from the fist.

[And now, the synthesized violin music of the main Gall Force theme
begins.]

- An eye blinks open, and dilates, and we pull back as, immersed in a vat
filled with liquid, RABBY of the Solenoid fleet screams.

Cut to black.

                                 NARRATOR
                   It was not the beginning, nor even
		   even the end of the beginning.  It
		   was simply a moment in time.  But
		   life ... even the life of a species
		   ... is a collection of moments.
                   <beat> But it was a moment on which 
		   all the other moments would rest ... 
		   or fall completely.

Giant white letters illuminate the screen, pulling back as they do.

                                SAILOR MOON

We see QUEEN SERENITY on her throne, looking pensive.

                               TENCHI MUYOU

TENCHI, with RYOUKO and AYEKA on either side of him, and MIHOSHI and
KIYONE nearby, prepares to charge towards something.

                              URUSEI YATSURA

We see the man with the spear from the front this time -- his face is set in
a mask of anger, and two reddish black marks ban be seen above and below his
eyes, on both sides of his face.  He looks like Ataru Moroboshi.

RABBY is seated in a command chair ... and slowly starts to smile.

                                 STAR WARS

CALLISTRA SKYWALKER's hand crackles with lightning for a moment -- and
then she realizes it, and you've never seen a more startled face.

Fade to black.

                                 NARRATOR
		   It was not the first time that the
		   Saga of the Defender had intersected
		   with the tale of the Solenoid people
		   and the history of the Silver
		   Millenium ... nor would it be the
	           last.  <beat>  But I believe that it
		   was the greatest.
