A few clarifications:
-- Yes, I made a mistake about Asuka; she should be the second child.  Thanks to
everyone who noticed it.
-- The fic diverges when Akuma is found as an "Angel" and sent in instead of
Toji as the fourth child.  I've based his introduction on Kaworu's, of course,
but sunsets can happen any day.  Shinji and Akuma are living away from everyone
else because SEELE arranged it to keep too many people from having close
contact with the "Angel", like how Misato was kept out of the loop in #24.
