Actually, I meant "technophile" - but somewhat derisively.  I was
referring to the guy who runs out and gets the latest gadgets, but
doesn't RTFM, so now you have the classic 12:00, 12:00, ad nauseam. 
But I think you're right nonetheless.

And, to satisfy this particular technophile's interests... what's the 
particulars of that setup? Transciever, obviously, but which brand? 
Which bands? And what's that antenna setup?
