As for Ryouga, he sat there dreaming of the day when he would be able

Not all fics have to have a point. It's nice sometimes to enjoy a good, 
original-flavor short with some quick gags. This is what you were trying 
to do, but it doesn't pan out. Despite that, it's not all that bad.

well finally got this done..  had the first half of this done for the 

past month or so (most ppl will be saying at this point "THREE WHOLE 
MONTHS TO WRITE 9K!?!?!)

I can sympathise with that. With some people, the creative processes is 
very particular and can only write when the conditions happen to be just 
right in any certain moment in their lives.
