Unfortunately, all the fics posted to the list recently have been
forgettable, and some were downright bad. I used to take the effort to
read and C&C almost every non-spam Ranma fic, but after seeing that this
practice could lead to a ban, I'll only C&C those fics that have a
chance at being better than bad.

You do not do yourself much credit with this stance, I'm afraid. If
you truly feel that this is the case - with Alan Harnum's "Waters Under
the Earth," Gary Kleppe's "Hearts and Minds," Stephan Gange's
"Slayers" stories, RpM's "The Pursuit of Happiness, Act 2," and
many other fine stories having been posted to the list since we've
started seeing your messages - then your standards of judgment
are far too stringent for me, at least, to take you seriously as a
critic. You have, to my knowledge, made no attempt to critique
any of the tales I've mentioned, so I fail to see where you feel justified
in asserting that you used to read and C&C every non-spam Ranma
fic.

In any case, since you have assumed the role of a critic and
have even taken to offering advice about how to write stories (which
I think would be much more credible if you actually posted stories
yourself), I believe it's justifiable for people to want to know what
stories you have actually enjoyed. Feel free to dig back as far as
you'd like to go in giving some examples - nobody says they have
to be recent.
