guys, 
This is getting rather silly, I mean what are we really in the ML for, is
it not to hone our skills in writing? I don't know about you guys but me I
believe that the only cannons we have (manga and anime versions of various
series) contradict each other.  To prove my point, in the Eva anime we see
Ikari Shinji as a person who is scared yet unable to run away, in the Viz
edited manga he is an angry young man who is forced to pilot an Eva. 
Another example, In Ranma 1/2 there are characters that exist in the anime
but does not in manga and vice versa, same goes for the numerous worlds of
Tenchi Muyo.  If the sources themselves don't agree with each other then
there is no canon is there?   The only way to be sure is in knowing how the
authors really intend their characters to be and since we don't have access
to that information and since most of our sources are either watered or
clouded by various translations (I believe some of the hidden meanings were
lost in translation of any work for reference look up the various arguments
about the Bible).  just my view on things, now can we please go back to
reading , suggesting and writing fics?
