Matthew, I'll get back to you on that extensive commentary after I've heard
from Will.

Yeah, but Sakuya was totally tee'd off at her the second she heard that
Usagi was trying to get her out of jail. This was before Usagi pulled the
stuff with Younger Mars, IIRC. (I sort of like Sakuya, btw, but I agree
that she's got her nasty moments.)

Yes she does have her nasty moments. I won't try to justify the way that
Sakuya acts, I don't think I could. It's how I developed her. She was tee'd
off at Usagi because she had told Usagi before *not* to interfere and to
let things alone. As one person pointed out Sakuya is a black & white
person. There is on grey with her and that's her biggest fault. She
committed a crime, was found guilty and sentenced. She decided to live with
that. As there will be some more development on this particular issue in
#14 after Sakuya returns I won't say anything else.

However, Sakuya was ready to "forgive" (and I say forgive in a very
sarcastic tone) Usagi. She even invited Usagi to her wedding, after
which she planned to demonstrate said forgiveness.

Did she invite Usagi, or did she invite the Royal Family? Two different
things here.

Yes, Sakuya specifically invited Usagi. Serenity even pointed that it out
to Usagi when they were arguing the day of the Wedding.

Borderline-psycho that Sakuya is (and I admit that's a value judgement)
characters have been speculating that when she gets back, she's going to
"literally" kill Usagi.

Yes, the characters did use the word "literally" and the word "kill" in
the same sentence. I wonder if Serenity will post guards.

^_^

Would Sakuya do it? Likely, she was prepared to kill Chibi-Usa/Black Lady
and the only thing holding her back was Venus ordering her not to and she
nearly bit the big one. As to posting guards... I can't tell ^_^
