U.S. influence also has arranged marriages aren't that acceptible
anymore, but that didn't stop anyone from Ranma 1/2. 

  Correction: arranged marriages are still done, but they aren't as 
common anymore. They are still acceptable, as 1/4 marriages are arranged 
(and 3/4 are love marriages; I think that's the right fractions).
