Nekophobia is a story that was inspired by a challenge some time ago
in which the question was posed:  "What would happen if Akane was
cursed to become a cat?"

I felt an answer rising within me, and soon enough Nekophobia
was born.

I originally intended this story to be 6 parts at most, but soon it
grew beyond that.  The focus moved away from Akane's cat curse, too,
though it never disappears; this is more a story about relationships
between the members of the Ranma cast than about Akane's cat curse
per se.

I pinched one idea in particular that I need to acknowledge: 
Akane's mallet, I borrowed (without permission) from Henry Cobb.

More thanks go to the various pre-readers I've used at various 
points along the way, and also to the often-incisive commentary
I've received.  Thank you everyone.

It goes without saying that all characters are owned by Takahashi
Rumiko and her licencees; this story is a not-for-profit fan fiction
written solely for enjoyment.

It's been a long time since I posted anything to do with Nekophobia.
Such a long time, in fact, I've decided to repost the entire series
to date before posting the latest, and final, part.

Therefore, following on to this part will be a repost of Nekophobia
part one.  I will post the subsequent parts one per day until the final
episode of Nekophobia on Tuesday week.

And then, I'll continue some of my other stories.  At last.
