No spoilers here, but Lum and Skuld use the same loophole (at least in
my
fic) and it isn't diplomatic immunity...
 

Not to mention Kuno walking aroung school with a sword...

Haff the things that happen in Lum, Ranma, etc... would get people
thrown in jail in the real world (the other half would get them a spot
on a cheezy talk show).
