fanfic series entitled Ranma 1/2: The Dragon's Dawning here. I hope you all
enjoy it. Here is episode 1.

Ranma 1/2: Dragon's Dawning Series

Episode 1: Enter Kipp: The Raging Dragon's Roar

	Furinkan High School on a mild spring morning. Ranma and the
	other members of their class are seated as their teacher 
	introduces a new student to them

Teach:	Alright class, I would like to introduce a new student. This
	is Kipp Hoshiryuu joining us after a ten year training mission
	in China.

	Kipp, a tall male of about 5 feet 10 inches, looked around the
	class with cold steel-blue eyes. Two crossed katanas stretched
	over his head appearing almost as two horns coming from the 
	sides of his black hair. Finding a seat behind Ranma, Kipp 
	prepared for the day's lesson.

Ranma:	How you doin'? I'm Ranma Saotome.

Kipp:	A pleasure.

Ranma:	What were you training in China? 

Kipp:	Kempo mainly, with a little Kenjutso as well.

Akane:	Say, my father owns a dojo near here, and we're always looking
	for some new students, would you like to train there after 
	school?

Kipp:	I would like that very much miss...

Akane:	Tendo, Akane Tendo.

	The school hours went by quickly and the bell rang releasing 
	the students from class. Kipp learned of Ranma and Akane's 
	engagement, and later of Ranma and Ukyo's engagement, as they
	walked to the Tendo Dojo.

Kipp:	Wow, you must be lucky to have two... uh... cute fiancees as 
	Akane and Ukyo.

Ranma:	I wouldn't go that far. Akane has a really violent temper and 
	she's really hard to get along with if you're around her to
	long and besides she really isn't that...

	With a swift and smoothe motion Akane whacks Ranma with her 
	schoolbag ramming him into a nearby tree. Kipp helps him up.

Ranma:	See what I mean?

Akane:	(shaking Ranma by his collar) Well excuse me if I have a temper!
	You know if you weren't such a JERK all of the time maybe I
	would learn to control it!

Kipp:	(thinking) Geez, they argue as if they were already married!

	At the Tendo Dojo, Kipp signed up for lessons with an elated
	Mr. Tendo. They decided that since Ranma and Kipp were school-
	mates, they should train together. Ranma and Kipp went outside
	on the training grounds and began to train.

Ranma:	Alright, you ready?

Kipp:	All set.

Ranma:	(charging) Here I come!

	Ranma threw several punches at Kipp all of which he dodged 
	easily. Ranma ended his assault with an uppercut which Kipp
	flipped away from landing at the ready a few feet away from
	Ranma.

Ranma:	Hey, you're pretty good.

Kipp:	My master trained me well.

Ranma:	Who was your master?

Kipp:	Her name is Shileng, she was an Amazon before her tribe 	
	attempted to take her life. My father saved her, and as a token
	of her gratitude she trained me when she found me wandering
	through China.

Ranma:	An Amazon?

Kipp:	(nodding) I learned a great deal from her.

Ranma:	Alright, then let's step things up a bit. Kachuu Tenshin 
	Amaguriken!

	Ranma employed the lightning speed of the Chestnut Fist, but
	to his surprize each of his attacks were blocked by a 
	prepared Kipp. After Ranma's assault, Kipp launched his own
	fury of the Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire technique in
	which his attacks were blocked by Ranma.

Ranma:	(thinking) Great, he knows the Chestnut Fist. I'm going to have
	to think of another way to beat him at this rate...

Kipp:	(thinking while looking at Ranma) Hmm.. he's planning to try
	something else, I'm sure of it...

Ranma:	(thinking) If I can get him mad enough, I can use the Hiyruu
	Shouten Ha the old ghoul taught me. I'm sure he hasn't learned
	that! (aloud) Ha, I bet you just learned the Chestnut Fist by
	mimicing someone else. Surely you didn't learn that on your own

Kipp:	(calmly) My master showed me the technique, and I set on my own	
	ways to learn it.

Ranma:	Sure, but have you come up with any of your own? I bet you 
	couldn't.

Kipp:	(a bit annoyed) I have many techniques I learned myself!

Ranma:	Oh yeah? Let's see them!

Kipp:	Why you...

	A red aura surrounded Kipp and a well of power surged through
	him. Memories of all of the pains he had been through instantly
	surfaced, as the firey aura grew brighter.

Ranma:	(thinking) I got him angry, now all I need is to move him into
	the center of a circle. I'm not sure what he's up to though.

	Ranma jumped down and began attempting to move Kipp into the 
	circle. Ranma positioned himself near the Carp pond as he 
	readied himself to throw his cold chi at Kipp.

Kipp:	Dishonor one of the many things that siphons the anger deep 
	within me. I have learned new ways to release my anger and now
	prepare to feel the power of ANGER! Ryuukouryuu Houkoudan!

	The red blast of energy Kipp released was as large as the 
	massive blasts Ryoga's Shishi Houkoudan produced. No longer
	feeling the hot, angry chi from Kipp, Ranma dived into the carp
	pond to avoid the blast, not knowing how to keep Kipp from 
	releasing his feelings. After the blast, Kipp walked over to 
	the carp pond.

Kipp:	I am sorry. Whenever I get mad I... Huh?

	Kipp looked in the carp pond to see a very feminine Ranma 
	emerge from the water. Kipp couldn't help but stare at the
	new Ranma

Ranma:	What are you looking at?

Kipp:	Y...You fell in a spring at Jusenkyo too?

Ranma:	What? You visited Jusenkyo?

Kipp:	Yes. It was my father's dying wish that I learn the ways of his
	sword and techniques. At Jusenkyo, it is said there is a sacred
	spring called Jiannanichuan, or the Spring of the Drowned 
	Swordsman. Whoever falls into the spring takes the body of the
	swordsman, but whoever dips a sword in the sacred water recieves
	the swordsman's blessings upon it. When I was performing this
	task, I was pushed into another spring by some sort of force
	coming from my father's scroll case...

	Ranma splashed Kipp with water from the carp pond. As the water
	subsided, Kipp took on the appearance of a girl with thigh 
	length strawberry-blonde hair and green eyes. From the hair,
	however, grew two very cat-like ears, and a tail from her 
	backside.

K-Chan:	What was that for?

R-Chan:	Woah, and I thought I was the only one who had it bad.

K-Chan:	Hmm. It's getting late. I'd best be going so I do not interfere
	with your plans for this evening. 

R-Chan:	Where are you staying?

K-Chan: I own a building which used to be a small training dojo a 
	couple of blocks from Okonamiyaki U-Chan's. Why?

R-Chan: Just curious.

K-Chan: Alright then. I shall see you at school tomorrow then.

	Kipp walked off as the moon rose higher in the nighttime sky.
