  That's probably because this is before Ranma knows about all of
Genma's arranged marriages and the like.

for Jusenkyo, because he may think of Lina as a seperate person, and not
some type of curse.

I can't imagine Ranma is happy about having to share his body (so to
speak). Point is, despite his problems with Genma he is still loyal to
the only family he has -- same way he is in the manga. For my money,
Jussi got it right.
