Continuity Notes: Basically, move the group from MahouTsukaiTai into
the Eva continuity, then hit the Reset button... though things will be
drastically different.

Prologue
"Hello, I'm Sawanoguchi Sayaka, and I'm a member of the Magic Club
at the Tokyo-3 High School. Yesterday, a giant creature from outer
space attacked the city, and was destroyed by a giant robot said to be
the protector of mankind. Takakura-senpai says as magic users we should
assist the protector any way possible. I agree, and will try my hardest
to help!"

Two boys stood on top of the school, looking toward the horizon.
One had brown hair tied into a ponytail and wore glasses. The other had
red hair and was noticably taller than his companion. Both were dressed
rather peculiarly, as though they were trying to look like witches;
black pointy hats and all.
"So," Ayanojou, the taller of the two, asked, "what are we doing up
here?"
"I don't have a clue." Takeo answered.
"Earlier today you seemed to know exactly what you were doing."
Ayanojou pointed out, glancing sidelong at the President of the Tokyo-3
High Magic Club.
"I was just impressing the ladies." he replied with a dejected
look. He turned to his Vice-President, "It doesn't change the fact that
I want to do something to help the Protector."
"The Eva?"
Takeo looked confused, "The what?"
Ayanojou saddled up along side his friend. "Kensuke said it's
called an Evangelion."
Takeo took a step away from his partner who was coming too close
for comfort. "Well, whatever it's called, it is here to help us. We,
as magic users should assist in any way possible."
"And I ask again, how are we going to do that?"
"Ahhh...."
Ayanojou smiled, "You're so cute when you're indecisive."
The "Ahhh..." turned into a full blown laugh and Takeo took another
few steps away. Then his ear perked and he turned to the door leading
back into the building. "Sawanoguchi-kun!"
Sayaka stood in the doorway looking out at the two. "Hai,
Takakura-senpai!" She ran out toward him, and Nanaka, her friend since
kindergarten followed shortly looking bored.
"Now!" Takeo yelled, sticking his mystic wand, which looked like a
duck's head on the end of a stick, into the air. "We can fight those
creatures, with all of us together!"
"Aikawa isn't here." Nanaka pointed out.
"Ah... eh..." Takeo replied, his pose falling.
"I believe we can do it, Takakura-senpai!" Sayaka put in, trying to
raise their spirits.
Takeo looked to her with bright sparkling eyes. "That's the way,
Sawanoguchi-kun!" He turned back to the horizon and pointed his stick
toward it. "We will defeat them!"

"Hey, Shinji."
"Yes, Misato?" The Third Children turned to his guardian
curiously, dropping a wet dish into the sink.
"Do you want to do something tonight? You seemed so upset after
yesterday's fight. Now, suddenly you're good as new. I think you're
just supressing what you feel inside." she said, sounding genuinely
concerned.
Shinji smiled mysteriously, "No... it's not that."
Misato blinked, "Then what is it?"
He sighed and looked at her, "I think I'm in love."
An eyebrow twitch was his only response. Misato parked herself at
the table and opened another can of beer, not saying another word.
Pen Pen walked in from just taking a bath, waddled over to his
fridge and settled down for the evening.
"So," Misato began, "who is this girl?"
Shinji stopped again and sat down at the table across from her. A
dreamy look crossed his face for a moment, then he looked at her, "Her
name's Akane... she's a freshman."
Misato smiled, "Oh ho!" She leaned forward, knowing an ample
amount of cleavage would be shown. "So you like the older women, eh?"
He took on a look of boredom. "Not that old." He rose and went
back to washing.
Misato harumphed, belched, and opened another beer.

"Hey, Suzuhara."
"What's up Kensuke?"
The thin war freak opened his laptop to look as though he were
doing something important and leaned conspiratorily toward his friend.
"I hear the kid you decked yesterday has a crush on Aikawa."
Touji almost fell backward in his chair. "What?!"
"Yeah! He's supposedly trying to get up the nerve to talk to her."
Touji laughed, "Well, I don't think he knows how far over his head
he is."
Kensuke pushed his glasses back onto his nose, "Actually, I hear
she's looking at him too."
"What?!" And the chair went over.

"Who is that guy you keep eyeing, Aikawa?" Nanaka asked as she ate
a pickle.
Herself, Akane, and Sae were all sitting at a table eating lunch.
Takeo and Ayanojou were with them, but discussing things on their own at
the moment.
"Ikari Shinji. He's the new kid who is the pilot of the Eva."
Akane answered.
"What did you say?" Takeo interrupted suddenly from across the
table. "Did you say *he* is the pilot of the Protector?"
"Yes."
Takeo rose from the group and walked over to Shinji. Ayanojou
quickly followed, and shortly Sayaka as well. "Are you really the Eva
pilot?" Takeo asked of the lone boy.
Shinji looked up and blinked at the large crowd that had suddenly
gathered around him. He swallowed nervously and replied, "Uh, yeah."
Takeo bowed, "Hello, I am Takakura Takeo, Class A, and I would like
to invite you to join the Magic Club."
"A... actually, I was thinking of joining Orchestra." Shinji said
after a minute of digesting what just happened.
Takeo looked up in shock as if he had been stabbed in the throat.
"What? You would rather play music than make magic?"
"Well, it is just a trick." he returned meekly.
A twist of the knife. "Oh, no! We do no such thing! It is all
legit, I assure you!"
Though looking skeptical, Shinji was secretly glad he was being
befriended by someone. "Well, I'm not sure..."
"Join the club." came a soft voice from his back.
Shinji's face instantly turned red. He knew that voice. He turned
around to come almost face to face with Akane. "Um... okay."
END PROLOGUE
Okay, why isn't this longer? Well, I'm not going to waste my time if no
one is going to read. This is my true test fic for Mahou TsukaiTai...
which I figured I'd better cross with something because the last post I
made got me one reply. If you want to see more of this send a message
please. If you don't... still send one telling me why (other than you
just don't know what Mahou TsukaiTai is, because it's too integral to te
plot to remove)! Before some of you ask, I'm still working on How to
Love Another and Feelings Are Blind, they are just going to take a
little while pending use of a computer now that I'm out of school.
Thanks for reading,
