:not buy another physical drive? They're very dependable(of course), not
:affected by click-of-death, etc. Most people don't use all the the
Zen said that the click of death was a fatal "Design" flaw. Nope,
it was a construction flaw, and does not occur in a) the older drives (such
as what i have) and b) the newest drives. If you bought a zip drive
now, you would not have to worry about that..
Zip drives are portable, and i've never had a disk fail on me yet.
On the other hand, they're annoying slow (especially the parallel
port version) and the disks are bulky. But: it's cheap. This is
the best thing about it...
