Well, I recived this message a while back, and I knew it was a good idea. Not the minute I read it, but the thought stuck with me for more than a day, so I knew I had struck gold:

It's your average X-files crossover wannabe.  However, any Earth-based

I haven't seen many series based Escaflowne fanfics on this list, and I
think it's high time someone did it.  So, please, anyone, pick up this
idea and run with it.  Make it big, and make it in-depth.
Wow, I should do this more often... too many ideas I have go to waste
just because I can't do them, and then I forget them entirely.
I'd be interested in reading anything anyone comes up with in this vein.

  So, I'm going to write this. If anyone has suggestions (As this is my FIRST time writing a fanfic), please mail me. Oh, and I've been reading the FFML for about a year, so I'm not a newbie. I've also published several short stories in Asimov and Analog science fiction magazines. But, I don't want to get flamed, and I definatly do not want to screw this up.
    I'll leave the rest in the dark...
