I have died again, again I am free for a few moments to
think and reason. My Once and PAST Wife Belldandy will find
me in a few moments and take me back to start the cycle
again. I don't think she realizes she is a part of the
cycle, I suspect she loses her memories when we start over.
I know I lose most of them when I am put in the body again
and merge with my younger self. I can make decisions here
and force myself to carry them out in the flesh, so far in
minor details only. This time I am going to try to add a
phrase to the wish, it won't change it substantially, just
add an escape clause.
    Here she comes and here I go.
    It worked, now I can cancel the wish, if Bel or I are
unhappy and that knowledge has let me remember most of it.
I don't suppose anyone could remember all of the times I
lived, they must number in the billions.
    When I told Bel about the cycle, she looked weird and at
first denied it, then it was as though the memories came
back with a crash, she flinched and shuddered
and sighed. Saying "K1 I can't do anything I am locked into
my aspect of today and I can't change anything, I realize
for the first time that you were as trapped that first time
as I was and you NEVER intended to make me your slave.
    I replied" no I didn't; I didn't really believe in magic
or goddeses then, I just thought it was a joke. So I went
along with the joke in the hope that you would turn out to
be as nice as you seemed and maybe date meafterwards" " I
have since found out that what ever you sew with magic you
will reap double or more"
    I added " You tried to trap me and were caught twice as
bad, I wanted to free us from the trap and I got your
understanding with it." " I release you from the wish,
Goddess Belldandy"" You are Free to go or to stay as You
choose."
    Beldandy Looked at me, I suspect she examined me from
head to toe, body and soul and spirit. Then She stated " I
love you and I want to grow to know this you, and since it
is my choice I choose to put the contract back into effect
but with our added memories"
    " we will live together until you die and then we will
renegotiate the deal, OK?"
    I replied with glee "OK"
    And We Lived Happily Ever After.
    Or at least more happily than ever before.
End story
    I got to thinking about how the ultimate force works and
how it must at least try to either end a wish or make it
bearable for both parties but what happens when the wish
ends and they return to normal.
    I also thought about the diffences between man and the
angels (in my religion, Belldandy would be an angel, their
being only one God but a very special one.) One of the
differences seemed to be that man could think creatively and
another was that man could adopt to anything and figure out
an escape from any trap, if an escape is possible.
    I mixed those two concepts and the challenge and viola
this story in three parts.
I hope you liked it. I tried to keep it from becoming dark
as that was too easy. With part one or two, dark would be
far too and I like happy endings. So there Anand is one for
you and my unseen friend Carol.
