Just a few ideas that occured to me at work. 
<sigh> plenty of time to think of 'em, but no time to 
write 'em. Anyway, if you want 'em, take 'em.

Idea #1.

Ranma 1/2

	Now this idea can be summed up in one question:
What if Ranma lost to Ryu Kumon?
	Would Ranma try to challenge to get his name back?
If not, what name would he take? (possible name-meanings
which occur to me are "free-horse" and no one)
What would Ranma do now that he is no longer Ranma? What about
the Tendos, and Ukyo, and the engagements?
	Possible titles? "A Ranma by Any Other Name..."
				"The Martial Artist Formerly Known as Ranma"

	And what about Ryu Kumon, now Ranma? What would he do?
Assuming Ryu keeps the name Ranma Saotome, would not he be the
one engaged to Ukyo and Akane? How does he feel about that? How
do _they_ feel about that? Will Genma teach him the other set of
techniques?

The possibilities are there, due to time constraints, and my lack of
first-hand knowledge of the Ryu Kumon story-arc (just synopses), I won't
be doing this one (although the possibility arises that it could be two
different series, which might intersect once in a while-- sort of like
DnR and DnU, except with less interaction between the two series).

Idea #2 (not that it's second-best or anything. We don't want to hurt its
feelings, after all)

Tenchi/Please Save My Earth X-over

	The reincarnated scientists were all that remained from a civilisation
which was destroyed during a war, but with who?  Could it be Jurai?
	But why would Jurai want to war with them?

	What does it have to do with the Jurai Trees?

	Mokulen, and the other rare psychics like her, can communicate 
directly with the Jurai Trees, and find out that the Trees are not exactly 
willing, or totally willing, partners anymore, and want their freedom;
to take root in the soil and grow and feel the sun and wind and warm air
ruffle their leaves as they commune with each other, instead of being
ships of great power flying through the vacuum.

	And what if some of the reincarnated scientists find out there are
Jurai living on Earth (especially the reincarnated Shion), and/or what if
some of the Tenchi crew (Ayeka and Washu especially) find out/meet some of
the reincarnated scientists (Mokulen especially)?

My relative unfamiliarity with PSME (I saw it once, many moons ago), and
reasons
previously mentioned prohibit me from writing this one too (I've already got
too much I'm feeling guilty about not writing... well, okay. You got me. I've
already got too much I _should_ be feeling guilty about not writing).
