Well, you managed to go that far without revealing much of what's
going on. *grin*

All in all, so far a quite pleasant Ranma/fantasy fusion - except the
characters down show too much identifying traits. The first
FF game doesn't really have much setting detail but I guess there ain't
much to do about that, and trying to keep things in game mechanics would
just make it silly.

resemble half-plate armor, was a young man, rugged in outer appearance with
a mop of black hair that fell over a tightly tied orange-and-black
bandanna. He was wearing a simple green and yellow traveling outfit

Tsktsktsk. In FF1, they should be Blackbelts, of course. Though I guess
getting multiple attacks at higher levels isn't quite Ryouga-fitting...
Really, though, I'd prefer seeing Ranma as a skilled hand-to-hander.

"I," Ryoga stated loftily, "do not believe in curses."

LOL!

Ryoga coughed. "Aren't these people going to notice that we look like
were Provoks?"

we're

Didn't you spell it Pravoks before? I don't know which is right, but
I'm almost certain you've used both.
