The bonds of love between two (or
more) people. The feelings that made you cry during the KOR movie.

Confusion as to where the heck Yuusaku was while all this was
happening? Annoyance that the fact that Kyousuke is an esper wasn't even
mentioned? (Granted it wasn't really *relevant*, but *still* ...)

Now, had you said the Shin KOR movie, I'm there. There's a certain
specific scene therein involving music and time travel ... that I'm
completely at a loss to describe.

I can't equal that; no point in reproducing it. So I try to echo
it. What I depict is fainter ... watercolours instead of vivid pastels.
"Moments of gold and ... flashes of light," as Steinman put it, amidst the
darkness. But it works, or so people keep telling me.

You see? I even use visual metaphors to describe romantic
elements. Does this suggest something?

And even if I was somehow able to transcend the limitations of text
and make you *feel* what I felt in that scene ... it's been done.

We're not here to write adaptations, folks. The last two guys to
try that got pretty heavily panned. (Undeservedly, IMHO.)

Chris Davies.
(Of course, the most romantic scene in all of anime is Rei's breakdown at
the end of the Sailor Moon R movie, but you knew that, right?)
