There are other series where the manga postdates the anime.  For example,
the primary creative force for Evangelion was in the *anime*; the manga is an
*adoption* of the story line by a different author.  I find the manga more enjoyable,
but that's just me.  Canon for Eva is the anime.
	The EVA manga is older than the anime, actually. Sadamoto is a
damn slow worker, that's the thing. There are, in effect, two separate
canon storylines.
	And yes, I like the manga better, also. Shinji with a spine! Hwei!
