My impression is that this
proposed ML is
very close to the stated purpose of the FFML.

Not quite...

1. The other FFML is apparently dedicated to discussion of
fanfiction, not posting of fanfiction...in other words, discussion of
writing methods, and so forth.

boy. . . that sounds alot like FFIRC. . .maybe I should get ahold of
them. ..
 

2. The other FFML isn't strictly devoted to anime fanfiction, as this
one is.

Uh. . .it is? Tybalt, have you banned anyone for writing non-anime
fanfiction? Didn't think so. . .
