It'd probably help if, when requesting for such help, people would 
also state what series/genre the fic is from/about.  For example, I 
personally have my fill of Ranma 'fics(1) and would not pre-read one. 
 On the other hand, I would pre-read a DNA^2 or Harlock(2) fic.


(1) no, I am not saying that I hate Ranma.  I'm just saying that even 
if you are dying of thirst, being dropped in the middle of the ocean 
is *not* good for you.  There is such a plethora of Ranma 'fics that 
I have simply given up on them and instructed my mailer to delete all 
the ones not from certain writers.  I just don't have the time or the 
energy.  Sorry.

(2)  hmmm...  Harlock 'fic.  Now *there*'s a concept I wouldn't mind 
sinking my teeth into.
