Having just seen MnE, I'm really not sure in which series to incorporate

it.

To me, it seems like a fusion with a heavy TV bias:

Especially TM TV 2.

1) Ryoko and Washu's connection is not stated, even though Washu seems to
pick on Ryoko like she does in the OAVs.

2) Ryo-Ohki never goes cabbit-girl.
3) Even though they call it a "Light Hawk Sword," it's stated clearly in

the

OAV that the power for them comes from WITHIN Tenchi, not from Tsunami.  In
the TV series, Tenchi draws his power from both the Earth and Jurai - from
an external source.

I guess these things happen in the attempt to come up with a good sounding
script.

4) Ayeka refers to the Funaho as being her brother's tree - in front of
Yosho!  Either she's in denial that he's her brother, or it's an

interesting

dub slip.

Well, does she calls him Yosho? (I haven't seen it yet since I can't get out
of the house to get it in the first place, bummer.)

5) If you look closely at Ryoko, she has no crystals.

Maybe she didn't need them...the second OAV series hardly tackled her gems
(except when Clay couldn't replicate them did the gems came up in the
discussion)

6) Kiyone is there - yet she lives in the Masaki home?

First, what does the home look like?  OAV, there were three incarnations of
the house...and its bigger than the TV and TMiL series Masaki home.  I guess
if there are solar panels, its OAV. ^_^ And how does Mihoshi fare?  Is she
the overly Kiyone dependent TV Mihoshi, or the rather dumb yet seem
competent at least OAV Mihoshi?

Oh, well...I'm going out tomorrow, by hook or by crook...unless if my mom
still pins me at home....I'm gonna get me MnE!!!!
