A really excruciatingly bad translation of "FUSHIGI YUUGI" would be
"MYSTERY THEATER".  If that were the title, this would be the theme song...

In the ancient land of Four Gods,

Miaka and her seishi pals
are caught in an endless chase!

Pursued by a man named Na-ka-go,
An evil guy who won't let go!
He kidnapped Yui, a bright young girl
And as the Seiryuu no Miko she will
   chase them round the world!

 The worst I can find!  (la la la)
 They'll have to stop and fight them all,

With the help of her seishi friends!
