Walking up to the gravesite, He took a minute to see the handiwork of
the warriors that had given her the burial. He smiled, despite the fact
that it was a simple job, but He preferred it that way.
He knelt down and spread the dirt from the ground and off the
body of the dead seraphim. She still was covered with dirt and blood
from her injuries, but she was His precious daughter. Alive or not.
Lifting the lifeless body of the angel, He started to walk back
into the valley, but with a different destination in mind.
Home.
End of Chapter 12
[Warhammer comes out again.]
WH: Man, things are just getting more and more complex with how
they are. I can only hope that I'm closing up the loose ends correctly.
First of all, I've changed how Nodoka comes back. Brownie points
for you who can recognize the movie that inspired me for that sequence,
with the four stars, the planet with others on and so on.
Next, the woman on the oar is a cameo from Yu Yu Hakusho. The
girl is named Botan, she takes souls of the dead to Enma Daio to be
judged who goes to heaven or hell.
Continuing on that, I have a theory. Since we as humans don't
know how the afterlife works, I would like to think that the various
different concepts of the afterlife somehow work together. You know,
people die and Enma helps send the good souls and bad souls to whereever
they go until they receive final judgment and so on. All in all, it's
just a theory.
I also decided to really wear down on God's appearence. After
speaking with Andrew Huang, he made a valid point, that God works in
subtle ways and doesn't need the flash and flare.
Next, the train ride to Tokyo-2. The reason why is that with
NERV blown sky high, and the city in ruins, I doubt there were that many
cars left to drive, so, I thought of the next best thing, the rail
system.
If there's was one scene in particular that I really liked, it
was when Yui showed how she 'really' was. It kinda brings a realistic
viewpoint on people that know what's going on. Yui is lying for a good
reason. She knows that Gendou and the fellow purpetrators(sp) are not
going to try and go for another Impact, so she'd rather leave them be.
Also, I would imagine the way she still feels for Gendou, I doubt she'd
want to kill him, chew him out definately, but not kill him.
BTW: Edward Hecatonchires is a reference to Masamune Shirrow's
Appleseed. In a way, he's the ancestor of Briaerious Hactonchires from
the actual story. Although I have yet to figure out a way to put that
sucker into my megaxover story.
The Shinji/Rei scene. I'm a hopeless romantic, what can I say?
Next, I let me know if I paced the Touji/Asuka scene right. I am
taking a leap of faith by pairing up a pair of people that would most
likely NOT end up together. In my opinion, they're the Ranma and Akane
of EVA. Or maybe that's stretching it a bit.
Finally, like before, God works in subtle ways. And if you want
to know what happened to the EVAs. Read the aftermath. Until the
Epilouge and Aftermath.
[Warhammer walks back.]
