Actually, and somebody please correct me if I'm wrong here, I believe
fanficition is perfectly legal. Doing stuff like this with charachters,
logo's, etc. copywrited by another is only illegal if  a) You are using it to
make a profit for yourself, or b) You are using it to advertise/ promote
something. Since fanfiction does neither, it should be okay.

No.  Fanfiction, in any form, violates civil law.
Technically, the copyright holder can lose the copyright if it is 
not enforced.  However, I'd wager that no serious legal action will
be taken against your average author because a) we aren't posing
a serious threat to the copyright and b) suing fans is costly and makes
you look bad.
