Why is it so hard to believe that two people can fall out of love?  It
does happen.  People you think were made for each other suddenly decide
to call it quits.  There are a wide variety of reasons this happens.  It
just happens that Akane's anger is a favorite reason of many authors.  I
tend to go with just incompatibility.  Also, why can't a person fall in
love with another person?  Yes, there are people out there other than
Kuno that love more than one person at one time.  It's not unreasonable
to think of this happening to Ranma if there happens to be someone that
catches his eye.  If that happens, it the author's decision on what
happens.  I use these facts about human relationship to an extreme and
tend to vere towards the other girls in Ranma's life.

People...if you really want to know the whys and what's up in these
two...find a good book...Color of Love, perhaps...there you'll see...in
convincing fashion...why love, although it's the same four letter word, is
not the same all the time...and probably a good source for WAFF fics as
well.  ^_^

Although I've prodded over the same situation long before I started writing,
Ranma and Akane are the only reasonable pair out there.  Not that the others
can't happen.  I am just not convinced, that's all.  Yet, at least.  The
only way I see is that Ranma and Akane would never have met each other, then
that's when we see no Ranma and Akane pairing.  Akane has a lot of qualities
that Ranma only sees partially in his other fiancees.  Although I won't go
further...
