(Cerina and Tommy look at each other, then shake their heads.)

Cerina: Tommy, just what the hell *was* that, anyway?

Tommy: If I knew, I'd tell ya. *sigh* The original story didn't make any
sense whatsoever, not to mention that it seemed totally inappropriate for
an anime-based fic list.

Cerina: Now, original stories that are written in anime flavor, like
"Macho Caballo" seem like they belong because you can at least tell that
they're based on the concepts of anime in general. This seemed more like,
say, a confused and bad episode of Melrose Place. (pauses) Well, maybe it
does; I've never watched Melrose Place, so....

Tommy: Whatever. And personally, we find the script format annoying as
hell. It gave us very little info, so we had no idea what anyone looked
like, what kind of environment they were in, etc. As to the MST, it
was.... awkward.

Cerina: That's an understatement. It was hard to tell what was the MST and
what was the fic! Next time, try putting the MSTing elements (i.e. Mike,
Tom, and Crow's commentary) in parenthesis or something so the reader
doesn't have to pick through everything. You might also want to put in
some scenes to lead into the fic; y'know, with Dr. F or Pearl. Jumping
straight into the MST just doesn't seem natural.... it made us a little
uncomfortable.

Tommy: I dunno.... it just didn't seem like it was really Tom and Crow
reviewing the fic; it was more like a thin parody of them. The fic just
didn't pick up the essence of the original MST3K show.

Cerina: Anyway, that's our two cents on the whole thing. C'mon, Tommy,
let's get dinner prepared before Tigger wakes up from her nap...
