Hello folks,

I'm finally off the Nimitz and back on line! Thanks to all the folks that
wrote me and kept me hitting away at Homecomings while I was doing circles in
the gulf (Yes, there is another part coming soon I promise) but it wasn't the
only story that I worked on and I need some help to figure if the rest of the
ideas are worth pursueing. So I threw together a couuple bits and piedes of
the stories and thought it might do well to see if anyone out there thought
that they were worth following up on.

Kain the Seeker

Ah My Goddess! Coming Full Circle By Kain The Seeker
----

"AS I WILL IT, SO MAKE IT BE!!!!" Urd screamed over the roar of the power
within the circle, completing the spell just as Belldandy's presence
approached. The light of all that restrained power glowed like an earthbound
star for a second, lighting up the entire courtyard.

Then the circle collapsed in upon her, and all the magic of the spell leapt
from her into the sky. Taking almost the totality of her power with it. Urd
fell to the ground, barely able to catch herself. -So tired...- She leaned
back and stared into the sky as her heart hammered in her breast. Wave after
wave of weakness washed over her, and with each one she felt more and more of
her power flooding away. She smiled as her senses told her the spell had
worked as she had hoped. The phoenix form of her magic spread it's wings in
the sky above her and took flight into the morning sky. -Good. It makes it
worth the price. Kami-sama..- She fell back to the ground as the last of her
strength vanished. -So tired...Soon.- She promised herself silently.

"Urd!" Belldandy grabbed her sister, "What have you done?" Magic still
streamed out of the yard in a torrent, and Belldandy could feel Urd's life
flowing with it. She channeled her own lifeforce into her sister, to keep
death at bay for a while long. To hold off the inevitable till she could come
up with a better alternative. Urd gasped as the first surge of energy returned
to her.

"Belldandy, stop.. it's too late, the.. spell has... taken hold." Urd said
sadly, tears flowing from her eyes. "You .. can't ..stop.. it."

"Urd, I can't let you die!"

"It's ...inevitable... Belldandy, all.. mortals.. die.. It's .. my .. time.."
She said with a resigned smile.

"But you're not.." Belldandy gasped as her senses confirmed what Urd was
saying, her sister was mortal.. and dying. "How? Why?"

"Doesn't.. matter now. Belldandy, do you.. think I will.. see Tom?" The light
started to fade in Urd's eyes. Urd 'nudged' the flow of lifeforce with all her
remaining power, just enough to disrupt the flow. "I really hope.. that I can
see.. him again." Then she was gone.

"NO!!!" Belldandy screamed to the heavens.

The cry of a bird was the only warning that he got. Keichii glanced up just in
time to see the golden form of a majestic bird plummet down upon him. Then the
entire clubhouse exploded as it impacted with him.

BGC: Blood Ties & Blood Promises

----
Mackie's protests were cut off as Linna lifted him into the air one handed
with a grip of steel.

"Don't backtalk me Mackie! Just load my suit that way that I told you." She
growled through clenched teeth, feeling them elongate and extend out from her
upper lip. I hunger, whispered a deeply hidden part of her. Suddenly her anger
was gone, replaced by the raw need brought to the surface by the hammering
pulse that she felt underneath her hand. She pushed Mackie against the wall
trapping him against it.

Mackie gazed into her now preternaturally dark eyes, and froze. trapped by the
power within them. Linna leaned in savoring the smell of fear fading away as
her glamour took hold. The desire was echoed in her blood, as she nuzzled his
ear and ran her hand through his hair. Pulling his head back as she worked her
way down. To the junglar.

She pulled her head back and opened her mouth to the full extent of her new
jaw. Soon, whispered the need that seethed through her blood. Only to be
stopped by the metallic sound of a gun's action being ratcheting into place.
Sylia's voice came from across the room.

"The gun is filled with White Phosphorous, Linna. " Sylia's voice was calm,
but Linna could hear the steel in it.

Thank you Sylia, she thought as Mackie slipped from her grip and bolted from
the room. She turned slowly to face Sylia as the need howled in her head and
her blood boiled. Already she could feel the beast tugging at the cage she
held it in

"That won't be nessacary Sylia." Taki calmly spoke from behind her. " I will
take care of her."

Sylia looked at the deceptively young man, and merely nodded as she withdrew
from the room. Linna looked at him, tears a second away. Understanding was
clear on his face, which made what she almost done all the worse.

"I couldn't help it Taki. I NEEDED it, needed him." He took her in his arms
and help her, and suddenly she felt like she was eight again.

"Shh, I know Linna. It's so hard to resist the call," he looked into her eyes
as he continued, " but it gets harder to go back if you have fully accepted
things by feeding." He pulled up a sleeve and held out a white arm. She
latched on the offered arm and started to feed hungrily. He brushed her hair
and looked down at her sadly, "I promise Linna, I will find a way to change
you back."

BGC: Broken Melodies

Priss tried to speak through the dry lips, but stopped short as she watched
the laser pip slide down the wall and disppear. No, I was so close. Then there
was a cough and a small flash of pain as she fell to the ground.

Boom..... the sound of her heart was like thunder in her ears.

She fought to keep her eyes open. Can't die yet...

Boom... another thunderclap as she pushed herself up, refusing to give in.

Leon, got to save .. no, that's not it..

Boom.... Light was fading quickly as she fell to the floor and couldn't find
the strength.

... Avenge you Leon, I promise..

Boom, ... Now the thunder was far off and weaking every second, she pushed
herself up, only to slip in her own blood and fall to the floor for the last
time.She closed her eyes.

So weak and tired, need to rest for a moment.

Boom...and the thunder faded into silence. Priss watched as the light faded
away. Then there was the sound of wings all around her, and a small measure of
strength returned as the wings enveloped her.

Priss opened her eyes and looked at the crow. It looked at her with sad eyes.

You know the choices, Kid. You willing to foot the bill?

Yes.. she heard herself say.

Then it's time to leave...

But what about Leon......

In due time, Priss....

Priss let out a long sigh, one that brought a rattle up from the depths of her
chest and relaxed. The pain fell away as she was carried away on wings of
ebony.

"The dead don't suffer, that is the role for those that survive them."

Sylia heard the gentle knock at the door, and didn't even bother looking up.
She wasn't sure that she could keep her composure if she did. I can't fall
apart now, she told herself.

"Sylia," Linna's gentle voice halfwhispered from the door."can I come in?"
Sylia nodded and kept on typing. She already knew what was coming and didn't
blame the dancer for her decision, but she wasn't going to make it any easier.
"Sylia, I can't stay anymore.. I'm sorry, but after what happened to
Priss....."

".. you can't do it anymore, I understand Linna." Sylia cut in as she looked
up from her terminal. The tears, though unshed, glistened in her eyes. "I wish
you would reconsider, but truly I understand. Linna, could you do something
for me... and Priss?"

"What?" Linna asked. Sylia tossed a folder across the desk, it landed with a
thud in front of
her. Linna picked it up and opened it. She gasped, "This is too much...."

"No, it isn't Linna, you earned every bit of it. There is enough there for you
to live confortably on the interest for the rest of your life. It's what you
deserve. Just don't stay here, let at least one of us get away from this
place. All I ask is that you take Sho with you." They both knew how much the
orphan had meant to Priss, she had meant to adopt him but couldn't get the
paperwork for his adoption. "I arranged for you to be granted custody. "

Linna looked at her mentor and friend, stunned at the generousity that she had
been given. There were no words that could be said that matched the look on
her face. Sylia took her hands into her own and looked her in the eye.

"Just live the life that Priss and Leon didn't get a chance to Linna."

BGC: Tales of the Immortal Knight Saber: Recollections

"It can't end like this..." She whispered as she struggled to get up. Eric
kicked her, and knocked her back down. He leaned forward, and smiled down at
her.

"Oh, but I think it can." Eric brought the saber up, "Now it ends." She closed
her eyes, and drew in a ragged breath. -It can't end like this... I'm so sorry
Sylia.-

"Nene!!!" She looked down the alley, and barely made out Shy. Shy was so far
away. -Sorry Shy, this is one battle that I had to do on my own.- The girl was
running forward and reaching into her coat as she ran. That gesture tripped
something deep in Nene's awareness, but the last beats of her heart were
making it so hard to think.

Nene looked on helplessly as the saber rose, with deliberate slowness. Time
seemed to dialate as the saber completed it's upward arc and came down. Then
there was the rumble of thunder and the saber blew into a thousand shards.

Eric was as stunned as she was to discover the softball size hole in his
stomach. Then the thunder clap went off again, another hole appeared in his
upper chest and he reeled backwards from the momentum. Some part of her mind
attached a name to the holes, 14mm HESH. She watched the targeting pip of the
laser sight rise to Eric's nose and she moved to get him out of the way, but
now things went by so fast and she was still trapped in tar unable to move
with any speed.

"No, Shy don't....." She said, a scream in her mind, but more likely a whisper
in reality.

Thunder exploded all around her, followed by the sound of metal impacting
concrete. Then Eric's head came apart in slow motion, a ballon of blood before
the impact of the High Explosive Squash Head ammo of Shy's Pakic 14mm. It was
overkill of the first degree. The body collapsed to the ground, like a puppet
with cut strings. The broken saber clattered to the ground with a rattle.

She pushed herself upright, surprising herself that she could do it. Inside
her another part knew why. She looked at Eric's body and didn't see anything.
Yet. She could smell the ozone though and her body tensed, waiting for the
inevitable.

Then the Quickening began and the world exploded in fire and lightning. She
screamed aloud as her back arched and Eric Gregor's life filled her in a rush
of pain and euphoria.

BGC: --Unamed as yet---

The stranger shoved Nene aside as the boomer opened up with the rifle. Bullets
chewed up the wall as the stranger reached in her jacket and pulled out two
pistols. She watched in suprise as the hail of bullets tore through the C-
class boomer with no difficulty.

Then it was over. The boomer was on the ground smoking and leaking lubricant.
The stranger helped her up with a smile.

"Sorry about that, I seem to have upset someone with my inquires." , she said
with an english accent.Nene looked over her benefactor. Tall, athletic,
apparently in her 40's or 50's, only a hint of gray in her auburn hair. "My
name is Laura, Laura Croft."

"Nene Romanova".

Thats it for now, and remember it isn't my fault. My muse made me do it.
